Tomorrow is Wednesday again! I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are going… So here is my last minute reminder that we have our Home Ed Club tomorrow, 1-3pm at The Sunshine Hub! Low-demand activities and learning opportunities ☀️

We only have 1 space left for our Saturday Club, starting this Saturday! Pop us a message or email to find out more ☀️

We finally have a start date and details for our SEND Saturday Club- 24th October, 10:30-15:30, £90 per child. There are very limited spaces.

HOW TO BOOK-

To make sure we are the right club for you, we are asking you to fill out a short form about your child’s needs before you are able to book a space. The form is available at the bottom of this post.

Once a member of staff has reviewed the form and decided that we can meet your child’s needs, you will be contacted to confirm this-

SELF FUNDED: You will be sent a payment link to book your child’s space via our website, you will only have a reserved space once you have followed the booking link and paid.

VIRTUAL WALLET USERS: You will be able to go onto the marketplace, find us (The Sunshine Hub) and place an order for a space. Your booking will be confirmed once we have received the order. Any bookings made prior to completing the above steps will be declined, so please follow the steps to avoid disappointment.

Home Ed Club tomorrow! We still have a few spaces left 🥰

Tomorrow is Wednesday again!

We’ve had quite a few new followers recently so I just wanted to address some of our frequently asked questions!

💛 Our sessions are designed with neurodivergence in mind. We keep numbers low and provide a range of activities, we try to make sure there is an activity that every child will enjoy- which is why we ask about any special interests so we can cater for those!
💛 Our group is called Home Ed Club. However, this doesn’t mean your child has to be home educated, if your child is struggling to attend, on a part time timetable, or even just needs a mental health day. We are open to you!
💛 There is no diagnosis necessary to attend our groups. We are designed for those who may be neurodivergent, which in turn means that those who would benefit from a smaller and unstructured environment, will enjoy our sessions!
💛 We are unfortunately NOT wheelchair accessible and do have a flight of stairs at our entrance.
💛 We do ask that you prebook so we can gauge numbers for activities and also make sure we can cater to any specific needs you may have.

It’s World Space Week this week! So some of our activities will be themed around space and galaxies 🌏🪐💫

We will have Vegan star cookies, ready to bake and decorate ⭐️ space sensory activities 👽 and some crafts based on galaxies! ✨

Spaces for this week’s group are already being booked so please make sure you book on our website!

And to follow up the last post, we are also finalists in the Teignbridge Together ✨
We are so proud of our hub, particularly how it has connected so many families and made them feel less isolated and alone. We can’t wait to celebrate all of the other local Teignbridge stars at the end of the month 🥰

This is a bit of a late post, we were finalists in the Newton Abbot Business & Community Awards back in September. We didn’t win, but to be nominated and shortlisted when we’ve only been open for a short time is a huge achievement! It was a lovely evening meeting other local businesses and celebrating the wonderful people of Newton Abbot ⭐️☀️

There is no home ed club this week (30th Sept) as I am away on holiday!

We will be open again on the 7th October, bookings are open on our website if you’re wanting to make sure you have a space 🥰💛

🌼 Schools Giveaway! 🌼

🌱 We're giving away daffodil bulbs to local schools. 25 schools in the vicinity of our eight garden centres will receive a ‘Little Daffodils’ pack comprising a huge net of bulbs and bulb fibre.

🖊️ Just nominate your school in the comments below before 7pm on Friday October 2nd.

🏅 The 25 winners will be selected and the schools contacted soon after. Please note, a representative from each school will need to collect their daffodil packs from the relevant garden centre by Sunday October 18th.
