Every detail had a purpose.

This has been one of the most meaningful tattoos I’ve had the privilege of creating.

My client trusted me to create something incredibly personal, a piece dedicated to someone very special in her life.

We worked on this tattoo over three sessions.

During our first session, we spent a couple of hours talking through her ideas and designing something that felt right for her. Once she was happy with the design, we started the linework.

The second session was where everything started coming to life. Building the shading, depth and all those little details.

Our final session was only around an hour, refining everything and making sure the tattoo had the right balance and would remain readable over time.

This is what makes tattooing so special, it’s not always just about creating something that looks good. Sometimes it’s about helping someone carry a memory, a story or something meaningful with them.

I’m very grateful for the trust and patience she placed in me throughout the entire process.

A Japanese Oni mask I’ve been working on, using stippling to build texture, depth and contrast.

One of my favourite things about this technique is how the dots gradually soften and settle as the tattoo heals.

Still a work in progress, but really happy with how it’s coming together!

I’d love to take on more Japanese-inspired projects in this style, especially larger custom pieces and sleeves.

Had so much fun tattooing this LEGO-style Superman holding a radio and a skateboard!

This cherub was one of the most technically demanding small pieces that I’ve done recently.

At this size, every line matters. There’s nowhere to hide messy detail, so the challenge was keeping the character, depth and expression while still making the tattoo clean and readable.

Really appreciate the trust my client gave me with this one.

For me, detail isn’t about squeezing everything in.

It’s knowing exactly what needs to stay.

That same thinking goes into everything I tattoo, from small pieces to full sleeves and larger custom projects.

NOT JUST A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS TATTOO.

I’ve wanted to create a piece inspired by this world for a long time, and I finally got the opportunity.

Rather than just copying an image, I wanted to bring it into my own style while keeping the character and atmosphere that made the original so recognisable.

Massive thank you to Molly for giving me the time and trust to create this properly.

I WANT TO BUILD A FULL SLEEVE AROUND THIS STYLE.

This piece started with a realism rose in a patchwork-style layout, but I’d love to take this direction much further.

Think:

Realism roses.
Greek or Roman statues.
Architecture.
Sculpture details.

All built together as one cohesive sleeve, with enough negative space and contrast to keep everything readable.

A full arm designed to flow properly.

He gave me full trust with this one.

A custom Greek warrior piece built around flow, balance and readability.

For me, a good tattoo is not just about how much detail you can put in. It has to read well from a distance, sit properly on the body and hold its strength over time.

This piece was designed with a balance of light, mid and dark tones so the tattoo has depth without becoming too heavy or cluttered.

Really happy with how this came together.
