A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Witching in the Kitchen

Although the weather had other plans for our woodland gathering, it was so lovely to spend some time with you all, bringing a little autumn magic into our homes instead

From opening our circle to sharing our cards & working a little ritual together, we still found our moment of witchcraft, connection & community. And honestly, isn’t that what being a witch is all about? Finding the magic wherever we are

A special congratulations to Debi, our witchy quiz winner! Debi chose an angelic healing oil as her prize & we hope it brings a little extra magic to her practice

Thank you for being so understanding about our change of plans & for showing up with your brews, cosy clothes, pumpkins & magical energy. Callisto wouldn’t be Callisto without you

WITCHING IN THE KITCHEN | TODAY 14.00-16.00

Sometimes the universe has other plans & this weekend our woodland gathering is moving indoors… but that doesn’t mean we’re missing out on our magick

So magical ones, grab your laptop or tablet, pop the kettle on, make yourself a brew & throw on your comfiest pyjamas. We’re bringing a little Callisto magick straight into your kitchen

Today we’re gathering online for a one off Witching in the Kitchen, a cosy afternoon of witchcraft, connection & a little seasonal magic from the comfort of home

We’ll still be opening our circle, calling the corners & pulling cards together. There’ll be ritual, time to connect with our wonderful community & space to pause, breathe & enjoy a little magick in the middle of everyday life

And if you’ve never joined us before, this is a lovely opportunity to see what Witching in the Woods is all about, without even having to leave the house

When we can’t gather in the trees, we gather in the kitchen!

Magical ones, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans & this weekend is one of those times. With wind warnings forecasting gusts in excess of 45mph, we’ve made the decision to move this weekend’s Witching in the Woods online. Your safety will always come first at Callisto & we simply can’t risk gathering in the woodland in these conditions

But that doesn’t mean we’re missing out on our magic!

✨ Introducing Witching in the Kitchen! ✨

For one night only, we’re bringing our circle into your homes for a special online gathering via Zoom, at the usual Witching in the Woods time.

We’ll still be opening our circle, calling the corners, pulling cards & working a little ritual magic together. We’ll simply be swapping the woodland campfire for our own cosy kitchens

Already booked your place at Witching in the Woods? You don’t need to do a thing! We’ve already sent your ticket for Witching in the Kitchen, so check your emails for all the details. We’re so sorry if the change has left you disappointed & we really appreciate your understanding

Haven’t joined us before? This is your invitation!

If you’ve been curious about Witching in the Woods but haven’t quite made it along, this is a lovely opportunity to experience the magic of a Callisto gathering from the comfort of your own home

No muddy boots required. Just bring yourself, an open heart & whatever helps you feel magical

AROUND THE CAULDRON: What is ritual?

Magical ritual can be as simple or as ceremonial as you like

At its heart, ritual is about creating intention & making space for magic. It’s the difference between lighting a candle as you go about your evening & lighting one with a specific purpose in mind. The action might be the same, but the meaning you give it changes everything

Perhaps your ritual involves casting a circle, calling the elements & speaking an incantation. Or perhaps it’s a quiet moment with a crystal in your hand, a candle flickering beside you and a few words spoken from the heart

Neither is more magical than the other. What matters is that the actions mean something to you

If you’re new to ritual, start small. Choose an intention, find an object that represents it and give yourself a few moments to focus. You can build on your practice as you grow more confident, adding tools & traditions that feel right for you

And if you ever find yourself wanting a little inspiration, having the ingredients for a ritual gathered together can be a lovely place to begin. It’s one of the reasons I create our DIY ritual kits, with crystals, anointed candles, elemental representations & a bespoke spell to help you bring your intentions to life

But remember, magical ones, you don’t need a cupboard full of tools to be a witch. You just need to begin.

Your Saturday plans could use a little woodland magic...

There’s something special about gathering beneath the trees as autumn settles in. The air turns crisp, the leaves crunch beneath our feet & the world seems to slow down just enough for us to reconnect with a little everyday magic

We’ll be singing around the fire, drumming together, filling the air with incense & embracing the magic of the season. There’ll be time for journaling, oracle & tarot card pulls & a very special guest making his return… the Coven Dog at Witching in the Woods

You don’t need to be an experienced witch. Just bring yourself, your curiosity & a willingness to get a little muddy

Every coven needs a familiar & ours just happens to have four paws & a talent for napping

Next weekend our favourite furry friend will be joining us at Witching in the Woods once again. If you’ve met him before, you’ll know he’s always a crowd pleaser. If you haven’t, well, you’re in for a treat

The woods are ready, the workbooks are waiting & we’re all set for our final face to face Into the Shadow of the year

There’s something rather special about spending a day in the woods, stepping away from the noise of everyday life & making space for a little reflection

Today, we’ll be exploring shadow work together, sharing ideas, asking questions & giving ourselves permission to look inward with curiosity rather than judgement

Now all that’s left to do is welcome our participants & see where the day takes us

Around the Cauldron: A little magic from the comfort of home

Who says you need to leave the house to gather with your fellow magical ones & witches?

One of my favourite things about our online gatherings is how easy they are to fit into real life. No travelling, no rushing about, just you, a cuppa & an evening exploring folklore & traditional magic from the comfort of your own home

Fancy joining us? You can book a place at the last minute, making it perfect for those autumn evenings when you fancy learning something new or having a little witchy time to yourself

And there’s a little something to keep afterwards too...

Every participant receives a beautifully illustrated PDF from our session, filled with the stories, folklore & magical knowledge we’ve explored together. Collect them as we go & you’ll gradually build your very own Folkbook. A personal collection of folktales & folk magic to return to whenever the mood takes you

Because learning about magic should feel like an invitation, not another thing on your to do list

Come & pull up a chair around our virtual cauldron. There’s always room for one more
