Following two fantastic days of intensive IPL training, I’m delighted to announce that I will be introducing a range of new IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments to the clinic.

Continuing my professional development and expanding the range of advanced treatments available to my patients is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

IPL technology offers a versatile, non-invasive approach to treating a range of skin concerns, as well as providing long-term hair reduction.

Meet the Practitioner | The Face Behind the Clinic 🤍

With 20 years of nursing experience, my journey in healthcare began in 2006 when I qualified as a Registered General Nurse and started my career at the St Thomas’ Hospital in London, specialising in trauma plastic surgery.
Throughout my nursing career, I have developed extensive clinical knowledge and expertise across a diverse range of specialities, including primary care, community nursing, general practice, theatre recovery, tissue viability and vascular care. I went on to do my nurse prescribing course 5 years ago.
My passion for aesthetics stems from my strong medical background, attention to detail and genuine desire to help others look and feel their best.

Having spent two decades caring for patients, I bring a wealth of clinical experience, a thorough understanding of anatomy, and a patient-centred approach to aesthetic practice. Patient safety, clinical excellence and delivering subtle, natural-looking enhancements are at the heart of my philosophy.

I believe aesthetic treatments should never be about changing who you are, but rather enhancing your individual features, restoring confidence and helping you feel like the very best version of yourself.
I pride myself on providing a professional, welcoming and personalised experience, where every client feels listened to, valued and confident in their care.

A little about me beyond the clinic…
Away from my professional life, I am a proud mummy to two beautiful children who are my absolute world, and have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 13 years. Family means everything to me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to balance a career I am passionate about with the people I love most.

I am a vocal coach and have a diploma in drama teaching and I also assist in teaching commercial dance at a local dance and performing arts school which I absolutely love!

Nursing is my foundation, aesthetics is my passion, and helping people feel their best is what I love most. ✨

What is IPL and what can it treat?

IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light – a non-invasive skin treatment that uses controlled pulses of light to target specific concerns within the skin, helping to create a clearer, brighter and more even complexion.

What can IPL treat?

I’m really excited to now be offering Sculptra® at Lyoness Medical Aesthetics.
For me, great aesthetics isn’t about changing the way you look? it’s about helping you look fresher, restored and still completely like you.

Sculptra is a little different from traditional dermal fillers. It’s a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment that works gradually, encouraging your skin to produce more of its own collagen. The aim is subtle, progressive rejuvenation, helping to restore support, improve skin quality and create a naturally refreshed appearance over time.

✨ RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING — AFTER JUST 1 TREATMENT ✨
These results are after just one Radiofrequency Microneedling treatment to the abdomen.
This patient is currently undergoing a course of 3 treatments, with the aim of improving skin laxity, texture and overall firmness in the abdominal area. We’re already seeing a lovely improvement, and her treatment journey isn’t finished yet.
So, how does Radiofrequency Microneedling work?
The treatment combines microneedling with controlled radiofrequency energy. Fine needles create tiny channels within the skin while delivering RF energy into the deeper layers. This controlled heat stimulates the skin’s natural healing response and encourages the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.
Over time, this can help to:
✨ Tighten and firm the skin
✨ Improve crepey or loose skin
✨ Improve skin texture and tone
✨ Stimulate new collagen and elastin
✨ Create gradual, natural-looking improvement

The best aesthetic results are rarely about doing more, they are about doing the right thing, at the right time.
Sometimes that means waiting.
Sometimes it means focusing on skincare instead of injectables.

Cheek filler isn’t just about adding volume, it’s about restoring structure and balance to the face.

For this lovely patient (my mum 🥰) carefully placed dermal filler was administered to restore volume loss that naturally occurs over time. By supporting the mid-face, this also improves the appearance of heaviness and pulling around the jawline, creating a softer, more lifted and refreshed look without surgery.

This result was achieved using a combination of both needle and cannula techniques, allowing for precise placement, smooth contouring, and a natural-looking finish.

The result? Natural definition, subtle lift, and beautifully refreshed contours while still looking completely like herself. 67 years old and looking amazing!
