Spend most of your working day at a desk?

Sitting in the same position for long periods can leave your back, neck and shoulders feeling stiff and uncomfortable.

Try making a little more movement part of your day:

• Get up regularly
• Change position throughout the day
• Take short walks when you can
• Give your muscles a gentle stretch
• Don't ignore persistent aches and pains

You don't need to completely change your routine. Sometimes, it's simply about moving a little more often.

And if those aches aren't going away, it may be time to get some support.

We’re always grateful to hear when a treatment has made a real difference. 💙

Maria described her session with Charlie as helpful, gentle and informative, appreciating the time taken to assess her discomfort, explain her spine and provide guidance on exercises to support her recovery.

At Carrick Clinic, we believe good care is about more than treatment, it’s about listening, understanding and helping you feel confident in your body.

Thank you, Maria, for your lovely 5-star review.

Your body is not a machine. It’s a conversation.

Some days you feel great.
Some days you feel stiff.
Sometimes an old injury suddenly reminds you it’s still there.

Rather than simply pushing through or hoping it disappears, paying attention to these changes can help you understand what your body needs.

Your movement tells a story. We’re here to help you listen to it.

Here's something many people don't realise...

Persistent pain doesn't always mean ongoing injury.

Our nervous system plays an important role in how we experience pain, especially if symptoms have been present for weeks or months.

That's why successful treatment often looks beyond the area that hurts.

Movement, rehabilitation, lifestyle factors and tailored care all have an important place in recovery.
