A little pre tattoo checklist to save for later..

Nothing complicated, just a few things that can make your appointment more comfortable and help you feel a little more prepared.

Because turning up hungry, dehydrated and in your favourite outfit that absolutely cannot be moved out of the way probably isn’t the plan 😅

And if you’re still overthinking any of it.. You’re not the only one. I work with clients just like you all the time!

The process behind your tattoo

It starts with your ideas.

You send over your references and what you’re looking for, and I create your initial design.

At your consultation, we’ll talk everything through, make any changes together and consider the size and placement before finalising your tattoo.

I also prefer to carry out your patch test at the consultation, where appropriate, so it’s all taken care of before your tattoo appointment.

Private studio | Appointment only | Virtual consultations available if that’s easier for you and travelling further afield.

A little look at what a private studio means to me..

A calm, personal space where you can relax, feel comfortable and make your appointment your own.

One of the things I love most about tattooing is that my clients are all so different.

Different ages, styles, stories and reasons for wanting a tattoo.

Some are getting their very first, while others have been collecting them for years. Some know exactly what they want, while others just know they want something that feels like them.

And that’s what I love about fine line, there isn’t a certain “type” of person who gets one.

You don’t have to fit a particular style, age or personality.

You just have to find something that feels right for you.

And I think that’s really rather lovely 😬

THREE things I wish people knew before booking a fineline tattoo

1 Smaller isn’t always better.

Delicate doesn’t necessarily mean tiny. Giving a design enough space can help retain detail and allow it to settle more gracefully over time.

2 Your reference isn’t always your final design.

Inspiration is a great starting point, but placement, proportions, skin and the design itself all need to be considered when creating the final tattoo.

3 Fresh isn’t healed.

Fineline tattoos naturally soften and settle during the healing process, so what you see immediately after an appointment isn’t the finished result.

For me, it’s not just about creating something beautiful on the day. It’s about considering the design, placement and how it will live on your skin.

Save this if you’re considering a fineline tattoo..

Minimal tattoos might be small in size, but they speak volumes. Whether you’re getting inked for the first time or filling in the few gaps you have left, a tattoo is a form of self expression that tells your story in the most meaningful way.

Memento mori. Memento vivere.

A powerful reminder from my client to honor the beauty of life 🫶

If you think tattoo appointments have to be scary… Wait until you’re laughing through yours.

My environment is relaxed, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I love getting to know you, chatting through the nerves, and turning your appointment into something you actually look forward to.

A little bit of laughter goes a long way 🤍
