Can you hear the TV, but not what’s being said over it?
Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison says that’s usually a clarity problem rather than a volume problem. It’s also one of the things a home visit is well placed to pick up, because your audiologist can test your hearing in the room where it actually happens.

With Hearing Aid UK, a qualified audiologist can come to you:
✔️ A free hearing test at home, with no obligation to buy anything
✔️ If you choose hearing aids, they’re fitted and fine-tuned in the rooms you actually use
✔️ Help connecting them to your phone or TV while your audiologist is there
✔️ Family members and carers are welcome to join, and visits are available in care homes too

Home visits are carried out by our network of over 200 HCPC-registered audiologists across the UK. They’re the same service as our clinic appointments, with no call-out fees, aftercare for life and our 60-day money-back guarantee.

Not sure whether you even need a hearing aid? That’s exactly what a free hearing test is for. Call free on 0800 567 7621 to book a home visit. No obligation, just an honest answer.

“How much do hearing aids cost?”
It’s the first question almost everyone asks, and it shouldn’t be hard to get a straight answer. That’s why we publish our prices openly, and why our 2026 guide explains what you’re actually paying for at each technology level.

A few things worth knowing before you compare:
✔️ The price should include your hearing test, fitting, fine-tuning and aftercare, not just the hearing aids
✔️ Ask what you’ll pay in total over the next few years, not just on day one
✔️ The most expensive option isn’t automatically the right one for your hearing or lifestyle

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison puts it simply: he’d rather fit someone with the right entry-level hearing aid than talk them into a premium one they’ll barely use. Premium technology earns its price when someone’s hearing or lifestyle genuinely needs it.

With Hearing Aid UK, every price includes your hearing test, fitting, fine-tuning and aftercare for life, with an HCPC-registered audiologist at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit. There are no hidden costs, and every purchase comes with our 60-day money-back guarantee.

Want to know what’s right for you, and what it would cost? Call free on 0800 567 7621 or book a free hearing test. No obligation, just an honest answer.

Love a natural sound, but struggle when the restaurant gets busy?
That’s the idea behind the new Widex Allure AI. It’s a discreet, rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid in the Widex Allure range, with an extra feature called Clarity Boost.

A few things worth knowing:
✔️ Clarity Boost is an on-demand mode for noisy places, like restaurants, family gatherings and busy conversations
✔️ Widex says it uses a second, dedicated chip that only switches on when you choose, so your everyday Allure sound stays the same the rest of the time
✔️ It’s available at the top two Allure technology levels

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison sees Clarity Boost as a sensible addition for the specific situations people struggle with, rather than a blanket upgrade. His advice is that getting the right technology level and fitting for your hearing matters more than having the newest feature.

Hearing Aid UK supplies and professionally fits the full Widex Allure range, including Allure AI, throughout the UK. Your HCPC-registered audiologist will test your hearing first, then fit and fine-tune your hearing aids in person, at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit. Aftercare for life and our 60-day money-back guarantee are included.

Wondering whether Allure AI could suit you? Call free on 0800 567 7621 or book a free hearing test. No obligation, just an honest answer.

Does your hearing aid have a noise setting you always forget to switch on?
That’s the everyday problem ReSound’s new Sensia range is aiming at. It’s expected to reach the UK in late autumn or winter 2026, and here’s what we know so far.

ReSound says Sensia is designed to recognise when you’re in a difficult listening situation, focus on the person in front of you and reduce competing noise, automatically, without you reaching for an app or a button. It’s expected to come in a wide range of styles, from small rechargeable receiver-in-ear models to custom in-ear options, with the latest Bluetooth and Auracast support.

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison finds it interesting because it tackles a very practical gap: whether people actually use their noise features day to day. His honest advice is to wait for confirmed UK pricing and proper hands-on testing before deciding.

Once Sensia is confirmed for the UK, Hearing Aid UK will supply and professionally fit the range through our HCPC-registered audiologists, at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit.

Want to be the first to know? Register your interest or call free on 0800 567 7621. You can also book a free hearing test in the meantime. No obligation, just an honest answer.

Ever felt your hearing aids made conversation clearer, but the rest of the world go quiet?
That’s the trade-off Oticon’s new Reveal hearing aid is designed to tackle. Oticon says it runs two separate AI systems at once. One focuses on the voices around you. The other keeps everyday sounds natural, like footsteps, traffic and the feel of a busy room.

A few things worth knowing:
✔️ A discreet, rechargeable receiver-in-canal style, with a portable charger option
✔️ Bluetooth streaming for iPhone and Android, plus a telecoil for hearing loops
✔️ A matching CROS option for people who can’t be helped by a hearing aid in one ear

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison thinks running two separate systems is a real engineering difference, and the right problem to be working on. He’d still want to see how it performs across real clients before calling it a breakthrough, and your audiologist can adjust the balance between speech and surrounding sound during fitting.

Hearing Aid UK supplies and professionally fits Oticon Reveal throughout the UK. Your HCPC-registered audiologist will test your hearing first, then fit and fine-tune your hearing aids in person, at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit. Aftercare for life and our 60-day money-back guarantee are included.

Wondering whether Reveal could suit you? Call free on 0800 567 7621 or book a free hearing test. No obligation, just an honest answer.

What if a hearing aid didn’t try to make the room silent, just help you follow the conversation in it?

That’s the idea behind Signia’s new MaX platform. The first model, the Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX, is a discreet, rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid designed for noisy rooms where several people are talking at once.

A few things worth knowing:
✔️ Signia says it runs four separate AI systems together, one each for speech, your own voice, your surroundings and background noise
✔️ It keeps a telecoil for induction loops in churches, theatres and at public counters, alongside Bluetooth
✔️ Up to 30 hours per charge, with a pocket-sized portable charger (according to Signia)

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison likes that Signia’s approach is about keeping you part of the room, not cutting everything out. His honest view is that how well it works in practice is something to judge person by person, which is exactly what a proper fitting is for.

Hearing Aid UK supplies and professionally fits Signia MaX throughout the UK. Your HCPC-registered audiologist will test your hearing first, then fit and fine-tune your hearing aids in person, at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit. Aftercare for life and our 60-day money-back guarantee are included.

Curious whether MaX could suit you? Call free on 0800 567 7621 or book a free hearing test. No obligation, just an honest answer.

Phonak’s new EON range is here, and it isn’t one hearing aid but three.
All three are discreet, rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aids with Bluetooth and Auracast connectivity. The difference is what each one is built for:

✔️ EON Sphere: for people who find busy rooms hardest. Phonak says its new dedicated chip is designed to separate speech from background noise when several people are talking.
✔️ EON R: a reliable, natural-sounding everyday hearing aid with the same modern connectivity, for people who aren’t regularly in the noisiest places.
✔️ CROS EON R: for people who can’t be helped by a hearing aid in one ear. It picks up sound on that side and sends it to an EON R on the other ear.

Our founder and audiology expert Paul Harrison puts it simply: the Sphere’s chip is genuine new hardware, and if following conversation in a noisy room is your biggest frustration, that’s the model built for it. If not, the EON R is a real step forward in its own right.

Hearing Aid UK supplies and professionally fits the full Phonak EON range throughout the UK. Your HCPC-registered audiologist will test your hearing first, then help you choose, fit and fine-tune your hearing aids in person, at one of our 93+ clinics or during a free home visit. Aftercare for life and our 60-day money-back guarantee are included.

Not sure which EON is right for you? Call free on 0800 567 7621 or book a free hearing test. No obligation, just an honest answer.

Ear discharge that keeps coming back, even after antibiotic drops seem to help? It might be more than a stubborn infection.

A cholesteatoma is a rare, non-cancerous build-up of skin cells behind the eardrum. It's easy to mistake for an everyday ear infection, but unlike an infection, it usually doesn't clear up on its own, or it keeps returning.

Your GP is the right first step, and if they suspect a cholesteatoma, you'll usually be referred to an ENT specialist. Treatment is almost always surgical, and once it's complete, a free hearing test can tell you whether your hearing's been affected.
