Wow! What an inspiring, moving and spectacular event last night at the Cornwall’s Rewind Radio Cornwall heroes awards. Carers Break CIC had the privilage of sitting in a room full of Great human beings. Working with Charlie’s Star Charity the holiday auction raised £450 but the best bit...the auction holiday winner Rob from Starlight Tyre Garage Ltd immediately donated it back for our Holiday raffle in December, so there are now 2 seperate weeks up for raffle to raise funds for the amazing Winner of Winners Charlie's Star Charity.

The Carers Break CIC raffle for a free holiday is almost ready. Ticket sales will open on December 1st and the raffle will close on January 31st 2027. You will be able to purchase tickets on the link on our website once ready and live. You will also be able to purchase a traditional 'in person' raffle ticket from one of our team. Each ticket will cost just £5, thats little more than a Starbucks or a Costa! If you win, your £5 will have won you a 7 night stay in a luxury mobile home at Porth, Newquay for up to 6 people and a dog. If you don't win you will have supported the wonderful Charlie’s Star Charity who support families who have experienced the loss of a child under 19 yrs in the Southwest. Once the link is up and live we will be sending emails to contacts, posts to friends and followers with the link where you can purchase tickets. Why not buy a ticket for Xmas for someone you know? Win a weeks holiday!-As a Social Enterprise we are designed to benefit the community we serve. Over the years we have supported several worthy organisations such as Memory Matters, MS Centre, Cornwall Hospice. This year we have decided to support Charlie’s Star Charity to ‘Create Hope and Smiles’ for bereaved families who live in the Southwest of England, that have lost a child under the age of 19, by providing them with a fully funded 7-day respite break in Cornwall.
Carers Break have bought 2 weeks of respite in May/June 2027. In the weeks ahead we will be creating a raffle where one of those weeks can be won. Every penny of the funds raised will also be donated to Charlie’s Star Charity. The second week already purchased by Carers Break will be auctioned for the same purpose.
The winners of each week are free to use the holiday or give it away to someone they love, a friend in need or even a complete stranger.

Whether you work for a domiciliary care company or directly for an individual or family, safe medication support depends on having the right knowledge and skills.
