💜 NSP & Naloxone Training 💜

Yesterday I attended NSP (Needle & Syringe Programme) and Naloxone training run by Turning Point ROAR.

I learnt so much from the session about harm reduction, safer practices, recognising the signs of an overdose and how to respond in an emergency.

Most importantly, I am now trained to safely carry and administer Naloxone, a medication that can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose and potentially save someone’s life. ❤️

Harm reduction isn’t about judging people or where they’re at in their journey. It’s about keeping people safe, reducing risks and ultimately saving lives.

Another bit of knowledge and training I can take forward into my peer support and recovery work.

Knowledge saves lives, and every life matters! 💜

💜✨ A Return to Self – Sunday Well Spent! ✨💜

A little look back at this morning’s 90-minute Reiki-infused Soundbath with the lovely ladies from Tallie’s Talk Group in Radcliffe. 🪷

Our intentions were simple… to slow down, let go of everyday stresses, reconnect with ourselves and just BE. 💕

Through meditation, healing sounds and Reiki, we created a space where everyone could switch off, relax and take some much-needed time for themselves.

Sometimes we get so caught up in looking after everyone else that we forget about ourselves. 💜

A massive thank you to Tallie for inviting Recover-Me into your space and to all the lovely ladies who joined us.

And of course, a little treat to take home! 🎁🥰

Swipe through for a little glimpse of our morning! 👉
