If you are eligible for weight loss medication through the NHS we will make contact with you. It is not necessary for you to book a GP appointment.

Very few patients are eligible through the NHS. Patient will have a BMI of 40, or more; plus 4 out of the 5 qualifying criteria. Please see table.

World Mental Health Day takes place on Saturday 10 October, with this year’s theme ‘Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change’.

The campaign is run annually by the World Federation for Mental Health, and more information and resources can be found at

A free and confidential, specialist NHS treatment service is available through the West Midlands Gambling Harms Clinic for people who are harmed by gambling and need help and support.

The treatment service can be accessed directly via a self-referral or through a professional referral, such as from your GP.

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important tool to help people who use NHS services have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience.

The FFT was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It's a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving NHS care or treatment.

Since the FFT was launched in 2013, millions of patients have submitted feedback. It's used by most NHS services, including community care, hospitals, mental health services, maternity services, GP and dental practices, emergency care, and patient transport.

We are delighted to share the news that Rebecca Pallatina, Advanced Nurse Specialist, as been awarded the title of Queen's Nurse.

The title of Queen's Nurse is a prestigious professional designation awarded to Community and Primary Care Nurses who demonstrate a long-term commitment to patient care, leadership, and lifelong learning.

There are only approx. 2500-3000 Queen's Nurses in England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Northern/Southern Ireland and Scotland
so, to be given this title is a huge achievement and a great honour.

The Lea Hall Club have kindly informed us that their section of the car park will be closed on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th October 2026.
They are also hosting the Blood Service Friday 9th October from 1.30 pm.
