We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Parent Champion to join the team at Wellbeing Enterprises and help make a real difference for parents, carers and families across Runcorn. 💚

This new role will work alongside local families and communities to raise awareness of respiratory health, connect people with the right support and help create healthier, brighter futures together.

💷 £27,000 pro rata
⏰ 20 hours per week
📍 Based in Halton
📅 Fixed term – 6 months

Another great Wellbeing Wanderers walk! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🌿

This time, our Wellbeing Wanderers headed out for a walk around Spike Island in Widnes – enjoying some fresh air, getting active and, most importantly, enjoying each other’s company along the way.

Our walks are all about bringing people together, supporting wellbeing and showing how getting out and about locally can make a real difference to how we feel.

We’ve got some wonderful news to share! 🎉

Wellbeing Enterprises has been shortlisted for Public Services Social Enterprise of the Year at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2026!

Our work is all about people – listening to what matters to them, recognising their strengths and helping them make positive changes to their health and wellbeing.

Our WE Connect and We Connect Plus services provide personalised support with the practical, social and emotional issues affecting people’s lives, including working with people who may frequently use A&E or GP services. An independent evaluation by Liverpool John Moores University found that WE Connect generates up to £23.58 in social value for every £1 invested.

Our active travel programme also supports people to improve their wellbeing through walking, wheeling and cycling.

We’re proud to deliver this work alongside NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Halton Borough Council and local community organisations.
