Another powerful scar cover up :)
Here is her story:
"After medical PTSD leading to poor mental health, it has been years since I've worn a t-shirt. In hot summers or out running, I have always worn long sleeves.
I hadn't seen many scars like mine completely covered and of those there only ever seemed to be floral designs. In my naivety, I didn't know there were other options.
I'd been passively looking for a tattoo artist to discuss the possibility of covering my scars for a couple of years. I wanted someone who specialised in scar cover ups, not only for their skill but also for their compassion and understanding.
No one had felt right before I came across Dorisz. Her private quiet home studio suited me exactly, being professional and welcoming.
Dorisz was so kind and supportive throughout the whole process, adapting were needed and was very compassionate about pain tolerance. Medical professionals in the past have made "jokes" about my pain tolerance in relation to my self harm scars, never once did I feel judged by Dorisz.
The mental relief of seeing artwork rather than scars has been unexpected but thoroughly welcome. Next summer will be the first time in 15 years that I will feel comfortable wearing a t-shirt and that is all thanks to Dorisz. I hope that these pictures can show someone else that they can get their scars covered and that it doesn't have to be with a flower."
