Looking for an adventure over half-term In heavenly Cornwall- Just across the Tamar Bridge?

It’s perfectly placed to enjoy anywhere in Cornwall!

We have RARE availability in our 2 shepherds huts - in their own paddock over looking a tidal river with their own private sauna.

Each hut can be made up to your spec of either a king-sized double or a twin.

They have Neptune kitchens and en-suite shower rooms!

Think paddle-boarding, kayaking, swimming, beach games, rock-pooling,
Toasting marshmallows over the fire-pit…

The fire pit comes with logs and plenty of space for a small well-behaved dog!

A few of our favourite things to do is to take a swim at high tide or simply find peace at the water’s edge.

Listening to the birds as we watch the tide change.

Our group here is with their teacher in the chapel enjoying an early morning yoga session as we take a flask of tea down to the shoreline and sit on the ‘secret beach’.

It’s often the space we need to slow and change our state.

We come down here to meditate, Breathwork, swim, paddle-board or kayak.

Often after walking from the house through the fern and oak walk, we see life from a changed slower perspective.

Today we’re noticing the changing colours, hearing pheasants and watching the seaweed move with the tide.

Hope this serves as a reminder for you to find peace in your day.

BOOK NOW and Get one FREE night on us!

We’ve run this popular retreat for the past few years and retreatees have loved gifting themselves this time to stretch into the liminal space of Twixtmas when the world is quiet.

Go Wild has been regularly loved by both retreatees who return every year and the press who cover it often, recommending it!

It has a special place in our hearts as it’s a cocoon in nature, to breathe deeply, rest your mind and find new spaciousness before a New Year.

It’s marks the perfect punctuation point.

It’s the best time to rest, walk the ancient paths of Cornwall and Dartmoor.

It offers Tudor Manor inglenook fires to share stores about the day and candlelit conversations with new friends in the library at supper.

Yoga and sound healing in our heated 12th Century Chapel.

We’ll welcome you into our circle of special retreatees who have enjoyed this magical time.

Can’t wait to greet you here to breathe after the hectic festive season!

This week we bade farewell to Lorraine Taylor Yoga and her wonderful group of women here on retreat as part of their 300hr YTT, all whilst listening to the magical notes of Eliza and being nourished by kate kensa - who astonished us with her low impact approach to retreat cheffing- sourcing her produce through Tamar Grow Local &

…. Net result food compost and just a few plastic wrappers in total for the whole retreat !

Every box and glass etc goes back to source - incredible approach.

HUT HIRE from now until 24th September…..

Our two shepherds huts are available for hire, over the next few weeks.

Take some time out when the water is at its warmest and the crowds have left the beaches to come and explore the Forgotten Corner of Cornwall.

Our huts come with kingsize beds and river views, with kitchenette and generous size shower room. Huts come with all towels and toiletries.

Firepit and on site wood fired sauna are available too.

Sit under the stars or watch the sunset over St Germans of an evening, or just explore the South West Coastal Path and villages of Cawsand and Kingsand.

Here’s just a little selection of pics…

Minimum stay 2 nights.

As if the cosmic sky-show during yesterdays eclipse wasn’t jaw dropping enough, we wandered out to the daybeds under the apple tree at 3:am to wish on a few shooting stars, that is the The Perseid Meteor Shower- and were treated to the trifecta of sky magic:

The unexpected glow of the Aurora Borealis!!

If ever life was yielding a promise of wonder it was now!

We lay in the cool air and gasped at the shooting stars.

Some fast and short.

Some slower - blazing trails.

Making wishes on each one.

Utterly uplifting and marvellous sky happenings that bring about such wonder!

Our Go Wild August retreat starts today with our sister company departmentofwellbeing and fingers crossed & we may fortunate enough to have a repeat tonight?
🤞🏽
Eeeeek!

WINDOWS (and a few doors)

A week of quick turns — one Pilates tribe bid farewell, the rooms reset, ready to welcome a private coaching client down to Erth for five days.

Between the changeover, I paused. Stood at each window a moment longer than I needed to, and let the view have me.

The light here is doing something magical right now — and every room, it turns out, has its own conversation with the river.

If you’re a retreat host dreaming up next summer already — we’re opening a handful of midweek 2-night offerings, April–July. Same rooms, same river, less commitment. DM us for dates and details.
