A fantastic evening celebrating osteopathy in elite sport.
We came together at Acer House for a special evening exploring elite sport, injury, performance and the role of osteopathy at the highest level of athletics.
Triple Olympian Adam Gemili shared stories from more than a decade competing on the international stage, speaking openly about the realities of injury and performance, and his experiences of having osteopaths as an important part of his medical team throughout his career.
Hosted by Daniel Collis, President of the Institute of Osteopathy, and Sports Osteopath Peter Horobin, the evening was also an opportunity to explore the wider role osteopaths can play within elite sport and hear directly from the athlete’s perspective.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such an enjoyable evening.
