Thank you to everyone who attended our community pumpkin picking event

Farmers fields are not always accessible for the people we support, but that doesn't mean they should miss out. Our staff team took it up upon themselves to arrange a community pumpkin picking event.

We have left the remaining pumpkins in Cafe hug please help yourself.
Thank you to Thorpes Farm Shop for getting hold of them so quickly.

Please tag us in your pumpkin carvings we would love to see your spooky creations.

We're happy to invite you to our next Friendly Faces event where we will be raising money for HARC.

HARC are a local charity supporting vulnerable people to get access to hot meals, warm clothing, social company and essential wellbeing services. Blossom Wellbeing Group are honoured to support HARC to provide these well needed services.

Date: 14th December

Time: 12pm - 3pm

Where: The Barrel Pub, Chapeltown, S35 2UL

Please email [email protected] to confirm attendance so we can ensure adequate space on the day.

In the meantime, any raffle donations would be greatly appreciated. These can be delivered to Blossom View, Pack Horse Lane, S35 3HY.

🏗️ BIG NEWS! Work has officially started on our new Respite Care & Day Opportunities Service on Badsley Moor Lane in Rotherham! 🌟

A tremendous amount of dedication and planning has gone into reaching this moment. While there is plenty of work ahead over the coming months—from construction on-site to our formal registration process—we are thrilled to be moving forward.

We are currently targeting a Late Summer 2027 opening, and we can’t wait to bring this much-needed service to life.

We’ll be sharing regular updates right here as the build progresses, so stay tuned to follow our journey! 🛠️💙

Dear People we support ,Families and Friends
We are delighted to share some exciting news about the future of Blossom Wellbeing Group.
As part of our continued growth and commitment to providing high-quality support, we are planning to open a new service next year in Rotherham (more about this shortly) . This is an important milestone for our organisation and will enable us to support more people , offer new employment opportunities and work alongside different communities all while continuing to deliver the high standards of care that is at the heart of everything we do.
Our priority while developing new services is to ensure Blossom View remains a high quality service therefore we are starting the transition early
To help prepare for this exciting next step and ensure our services continue to develop and improve, Nicola will be moving into a Quality Assurance role as Director of Care.. In this position, Nicola will work across our services, focusing on quality, compliance, staff development, and ensuring we continue to provide safe, effective and person-centred support.
As a result of this change, we will be recruiting a Registered Manager for Blossom View. If family members wish to apart of choosing our new manager, please drop us a message
This appointment will provide dedicated day-to-day leadership for Blossom View while allowing Nicola to focus on supporting quality and improvement across the wider organisation. We believe this will strengthen our services and provide even greater support to our teams and the people we support.
We understand that changes can sometimes create questions, but we want to reassure everyone that our values, commitment to quality, and focus on the people we support remain unchanged and we believe this change will improve the quality of service we offer. Nicola will remain as Registered Manager until a new person is appointed and will work closely with the New Registered Manager to ensure a smooth handover to benefit the people we support and our staff team .
We are excited about the opportunities this development will bring and look forward to sharing further updates as our plans progress.

Making every day fun is one of our top goals whether its science projects, attending our friendly faces event to socialise, sing and dance💃🎶 or relaxing on our Dry Floatation bed which provides an amazing sensory experience. We love coming up with new ideas on how to spend our days!

Our next Friendly Faces session is happening at The Barrel Public House, and we’d love to see you there.
Come along for a relaxed afternoon with great company, live music, and plenty of tea, coffee and cakes.
Drop in on Monday the 28th of September 2026 between 12pm and 3pm — the venue is wheelchair accessible, so everyone can join us comfortably.
Lunch is available to purchase separately.
It’s a perfect chance to meet new people and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.
