Sometimes itโs not about getting fitter.
Sometimes itโs about being able to get out of a chair without struggling.
Getting up and down the stairs.
Getting off the floor.
Walking further without feeling so unsteady or exhausted.
Being able to do the everyday things youโve always done, with a little more confidence and independence.
A few months ago I shared this lovely testimonial from a lady in her 90โs who came to see me because everyday movement was becoming more difficult.
We worked together one-to-one using simple, targeted exercises to build strength, mobility and confidence in the things that mattered to her.
And she noticed a real difference.
This is something I offer in clinic through exercise therapy, and you donโt have to be a gym person, an athlete or even particularly โfitโ to benefit.
If you, or someone you know, is finding everyday activities harder than they used to be, we can work on that.
Sometimes the goal isnโt a bigger squat or lifting heavier weights.
Sometimes the goal is simply being able to get up from that chair more easily.
And that matters too. ๐ค
