If your skin’s been feeling dry, sensitive or just a bit unpredictable lately, we’ve got time to give it some attention before Christmas.

I said I was going offline, and for once I actually did!

Scotland gave us rain, wind, some last minute itinerary changes and some of the best days we’ve had in ages. I’ve loved sharing little bits of it with you, but it’s also been lovely to put my phone down and just be there.

Have you received your IVF dates and immediately wondered whether you should have started acupuncture weeks ago?

Please don’t add that worry to an already overwhelming process.

Some people begin acupuncture before IVF starts. Others first get in touch during down regulation, stimulation or while preparing for embryo transfer. There isn’t a set number of sessions you must complete and starting later doesn’t mean you’ve missed your opportunity for support.

Acupuncture cannot guarantee or control the outcome of IVF. What it can offer is a consistent place to pause, support relaxation and help ease some of the anxiety surrounding treatment.

If you’re considering IVF acupuncture in Halifax, tell me where you are in your treatment and I’ll explain what could realistically fit around your protocol, with no pressure to book.
