A much needed wholesome weekend away in Wiltshire with a friend. Lots of walks, food and putting the world to rights. Life really is complete when you have those few simple things.
I loved exploring Avebury and getting up close to the stones. Sensing the history and imagining the sacred rituals they used to hold there. What a magical place! ✨🩵

Here is my freshly made autumn alter.
As the light and dark equal each other we are reminded of the importance of balance. As we lived our most vicarious lives under the summer sun, now we enter a time to slow down and reflect.

I'm doing a 15k charity swim for comic relief over September in the lake at Little Paxton. I'm 9.6km in so far.
This is me last night feeling a bit sorry for myself.
I've always exercised and been someone who likes to keep my body strong and active. It's helped so much with my mental health, not only by releasing all the good chemicals and hormones but by being part of a community and having a healthy(ish) body.
