Hello and welcome to Complete Podiatry page. We are a team of enthusiastic and passionate Podiatrist who thrive on getting patients back on their feet. So if you’ve got a sports injury, trouble with your nails, a verruca, painful corns or callous, or you are just suffering from sore feet, then you have come to the right place and we would love to see you in clinic. We are very passionate about Sports podiatry and love the challenge of finding out where your aches and pains are coming from. Its like a jigsaw puzzle putting all the pieces together with our high tech Run3D gait analysis equipment and our own clinical experience to put together a individual treatment plan to you. Having worked with professional athletes, through to people who just want to get back on their feet and enjoying life again we welcome everyone into clinic, So if you fit anywhere on that scale we offer a complete service to help you. We also provide a chiropody service which means we can help with nail care, painful corns, or treat fungal nails. The phrase we love to hear from patients, and hear it a lot following their treatment is " I feel like I'm walking on air". Why not join them by getting rid of that troublesome corn preventing you from wearing your favourite shoes, or that painful hard skin that is stops you enjoy your walking. A little case study of an interesting patient in clinic. After an injury to the right second toe the patient struggled to weightbear on the right foot, and unable to carry out day to day activities without pain.
After examination, including evaluation using diagnostic ultrasound, a differential diagnosis of stress fracture to second metatarsal was suspected. Later confirmed with x-ray.
Main treatment was to offload the toe in order to allow healing. In this case I tried the Vimazi Z20 trainer in order to reduce compression with a stiffer sole forefoot shoe.
Delighted with results as afew days later we have been very successful in reducing pain, so much so that when in the Vimazi Z20 the patient has no pain whatsoever and can happily walk his dogs pain free! 👣
We continue to monitor progress….
