For me, life is the teacher.

My biggest lessons have come from being a dad.

I used to create fear in my mind about their future. Worried they'd make the same mistakes I made. Feel the same pain I felt.

And when that fear kicked in, I'd try to control.

The control was causing me stress. They weren't stressing me out. I was stressing myself out, creating the fear and then trying to manage something that was never mine to manage.

The reality was, I was projecting my own past onto them.

From doing the work, the key was awareness. Catching the projection before it ran the show.

And here's the paradox.

By letting go of control, I gained it. Freedom came back. Peace came back. And so did a better relationship with my kids.

Letting go wasn't not caring. It was the most loving thing I could do, for them and for me.

That awareness, that reframe, understanding your own mental models and the subconscious patterns running underneath it all, that's exactly what we work on in the Alignment Method.

Our energy is highest when we're in flow.

When it's natural. When we stop overthinking it.

Water the plant, it grows. Simple as that. 🌱

No force. Accept how it grows.

But keep to the basics, and results come.

People say, "I tried that and it came back." (Certain thinking)

That's like saying, "What's the point in cutting the grass if it just grows back?"

Keep the basics maintained.
But keep learning and do something different when it feels right.

Go where your energy is highest.

Results come. 🌿

That feeling of turning the page.

Like January 1st. Like spring arriving. Like pressing play on a new box set, not knowing yet how good it's going to get.

New house last weekend. Amazing sessions woth clients this week. Good people around me. Seeing friends doing well in thier business adventures. Life moving in the right direction.

Friday feels like that today. Like something's just beginning.

What's your new chapter right now?

You've been knocked down time after time.

Real life stuff. Loss, addiction, rock bottom, graft, rebuilding yourself when life has given you every reason not to.

And every single time, you've got back up.

You've achieved things. Built something real. Been the best parent you could be. On paper, life looks pretty good.

But inside, something's missing.

The kids don't need you in the same way anymore. The career's ticking along. You've got the mindset, the awareness, and the experience.

But who are you now, for yourself?

What's next?

Sometimes, you don't need someone to fix you. You just need someone to put their arm around your shoulder, open up your mind and say...

"Right. Let's go. This is where we're going."

That's the person I work best with.

Because that was me back in the day.
