Just reflecting on what has been some of the maddest 3 months of my life so far.
I’ve had a child, got married, travelled the world but what’s being created here at the Heat Exchange day by day is beginning to get me the same kind of excited.

We are birthing something beautiful for friends to enjoy and for people to share moments and stories.

It’s starting to really come together, all the dreaming, the planning, the designing, the procuring….now it’s all going in! Not coming out.
Cedar, juniper, larch, aspen and oak all being woven into the fabric of our space. The drainage channels have been made to carry the water once its played its role. The ventilation has been installed keep the air fresh. The heaters and stones have arrived to heat the bodies. Tiles arrive from Italy in a week…

2 months to go and we will be ready. Time flies when you are having fun!!

Beautiful British cedar….We've selected this stunning timber for the interior of our sauna, not because it's the priciest or flawless, but because we adore its unique charm, aroma, hue, feel and British roots. Picked up from our local timber supplier.
