Considering gynaecomastia surgery?
Gynaecomastia is the enlargement of breast tissue in males. It can affect one or both sides of the chest and may occur at different stages of life.
There can be a number of possible causes, including hormonal changes, certain medications, weight gain and some underlying medical conditions. In some cases, no obvious cause is identified.
For men where enlargement persists and surgery is considered appropriate, male chest reduction surgery may be an option.
At Victoria House Clinic, consultations with Mr George Filobbos, Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and Medical Director, provide an opportunity to discuss your concerns, medical history and treatment options.
Every patient is different, and any surgical approach will be considered on an individual basis.
