Limitless Balanced Life My name is Chris and I am a systematic kinesiologist based at The Shaftsbury Centre, Percy Street, Rodbourne, Swindon, SN2 2AZ.

Systematic kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) is a natural health care system suitable for all ages which uses gentle muscle testing to evaluate what your body is deficient in and where there are energy blockages. Having been into alternative therapies and general wellbeing for over 20 years, I am now fully qualified in kinesiology using muscle testing for finding out what your body is deficient in and where there are energy blockages. Session price - £70 (required supplements are in addition - I will send you the links to the specific ones that come up through testing your body)
Session length - usually between 1 to 1.5 hours long.

Ever agreed to something… then instantly felt drained?
That’s your body saying “no” long before your brain catches up.

We’ve all done it — said yes to plans we didn’t want, favours we didn’t have the energy for, commitments that felt heavy the second the words left our mouth. We then spend days resenting it, feeling pulled, stretched, or quietly annoyed at ourselves (and them!).

That feeling isn’t drama - It’s your gut speaking.

Your body is brilliant at telling you when something isn’t aligned — when you’re doing it out of obligation, people‑pleasing, or habit rather than genuine desire.

Yes, there are times when we absolutely should show up for others and “suck it up”… but it’s worth asking "Is this truly one of those times? " or "is my kind nature being taken advantage of?".

One of my favourite reminders is (and I can't remember who it was that I heard say this - so apologies!) “If it isn’t a hell yes… it’s a hell no.”

You don’t need to justify your boundaries. You just need to listen to the part of you that already knows the answer.

What’s the first thing you notice changing in your body when autumn arrives?

As soon as the colder months creep in, I almost instantly feel the urge to disappear inside. Matt calls it my annual “hibernation,” and he’s not wrong — it happens every single year.

Funny thing is, I don’t mind going out during the day at all. I love a cold walk, wrapped up warm, fresh air, cosy layers… all of that feels really good.
But once it gets dark? That’s when I find it really hard to motivate myself. It’s like my body switches into winter mode and says, “Nope. We’re staying in.”

I always enjoy myself once I’m actually out, so I try to focus on that feeling — the part where I’m glad I went. Because honestly, if I didn’t make that little push, you probably wouldn’t see me 'out out' again until April.

So tell me — what’s the first thing you notice changing in your body when autumn arrives?

As the days get shorter and the sunshine fades, we officially enter Vitamin D Season — the time of year when our bodies can struggle to make enough vitamin D naturally.

Vitamin D plays a role in mood, energy, immunity and overall wellbeing, and from October to March the UK sun usually isn’t strong enough for a natural top‑up.

In kinesiology, as soon as autumn arrives, people’s systems start showing signs they need extra support.

A quick reminder too - vitamin K2 works alongside vitamin D, helping your body use calcium properly. They’re a team, and they support each other beautifully.

If you’re feeling tired, low, or just “not quite yourself,” the season is often a factor. A kinesiology balance can help your body show what it needs as we head into the colder months.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or visit my website for more details!

October 10th is World Mental Health Day.
A reminder that mental health isn’t something we think about once a year — it’s something we live with every single day.

You don’t have to be “struggling” to pay attention to your wellbeing.
You don’t need a crisis to justify rest, boundaries, or support.
You don’t need permission to say “I’m not okay today.”

Mental health is part of being human and talking about it is part of staying well.

Today is a good day to check in with yourself, to slow down for a moment, and to remember that you deserve care — not only when things feel heavy, but always.

If you need to, reach out to a friend you know will listen without judgement...or be that friend that reaches out to someone you know who is struggling x

I’ve been planning to offer a vibrational/frequency healing session for a few months now… and somehow never quite got around to actually launching it.
You know how it is - life, work, kids, everything else jumps in first.

Anyway… I was telling one of my lovely clients about it today, explaining what it involves, how it works, and how I really need to get off my backside and sort it out.

And guess what she said? - “Oh that sounds perfect for me — can I book in?”

So now it’s official - It’s happening! I have to launch it properly because the first session is already booked!

Sometimes the universe gives you a little nudge (or a shove) to get you moving.

I’m putting this out there now even though it’s not on my website yet, because I clearly need a bit of accountability.

I don’t want this lovely client who’s already booked in to end up being the only one for months just because I haven’t launched it properly. So here it is, out in the open, officially happening.

Saying it publicly means I actually have to get on with it now, and I’m taking that as the nudge I needed.

More information to follow.....at some point....soon.....I hope....er, no...I promise!

The quote “Comparison is the thief of joy" is something that pops up every now and then and it always makes me stop and think.

We live in a world where it’s almost impossible not to compare ourselves to others. Their homes, their holidays, their routines, their bodies, their achievements… it’s everywhere. Before you know it, you’re feeling “not enough” in a life that was perfectly good five minutes earlier.

Trying to grow as a person — being kinder, calmer, more present — that’s fab. Trying to look like someone else or keep up with what everyone else has? - That’s where joy disappears.

When we compare ourselves to what other people have, we stop enjoying what we already have. We miss the small things that make our own lives feel warm, meaningful and ours.

Honestly, the things that matter most are the ones that support our wellbeing — whatever that looks like for each of us. Not the size of a house or the badge on a car. Some of the most lovely feeling, homely places I’ve ever been in have been the smaller ones. And a car? If it gets you from A to B reliably, surely that's good enough isn't it?

We could really benefit from stopping the comparison of ourselves to others, release that pressure - relax and breathe.

You are already awesome xx

Half term is just around the corner, which makes it the perfect time to get the kids booked in for a kinesiology session.

No school rush, no homework battles, no tired evenings — just a calm space for them to reset, rebalance and feel more themselves again.

I’ve currently got appointments available on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th, so if your little one could do with support around emotions, sleep, tummy troubles or general wellbeing etc… just putting it out there!

A gentle session can make such a difference.

You'll find a booking page on my website!

Consistency is the quiet hero of every transformation...

A single workout won’t change your body - but showing up a minimum of three times a week, every week will.
One tapping session might not shift your stress long term - but repeating the sequence daily will.
One day of supplements that your body wants, won't address that want - but taking them consistently absolutely will.

Life responds to what you do often, not what you do once. We can't go out for one training run and expect to then be able to run a marathon. We can't meditate once and expect to be as calm as a Tibetan monk forever more from that point.

Small steps - Repeated - That’s the secret.

If anyone would like help in finding out what their body needs, I'd be happy to help you...head over to my website for more information x
