This is our page committed entirely to fundraising. We will share all of our fundraising initiatives and give you plenty of opportunities to get involved

Compass Disability Services is a Somerset based charity working to enable and empower disabled people and carers to have independence, choice and control in their lives and to reduce the negative impact of exclusion and social isolation for all people in our community. Compass Disability Services facilitates various projects

Compass Independent Living
Providing support to those in receipt of a Direct Payment or Personal Health Budgets with payroll services, managed accounts, recruitment support and budgeting. Compass Wellbeing
A fully accessible and inclusive Wellbeing Centre, with Hydropool, Sensory Room, a range of inclusive activities and a Wellbeing Cafe. Compass Everyday
A day service for adults with learning disabilities

COGS
A day service social club for adults living with Dementia

However you choose to get involved, we are extremely grateful for your support and promise that every penny raised will go towards improving the quality of life for disabled people, their carers and those who are isolated or excluded for whatever reason.

🌧 💨 Being homeless is never easy, but in this weather is it unbearable. 🌧 💨

Yesterday alone Compass Wellbeing gave out more pants, socks and coats than we usually give out in a week. If you can help us help them by donating any of the following, it is more needed now than ever.

Mens pants (New. size M and L)
Ladies pants (New Size S and M)
Mens and ladies sock (new or preloved in good, clean, useable condition)
Mens waterproof coats an over trousers (Size L, new or preloved in good, clean, useable condition)
Womens waterproof coats and over trousers (Size M or L, )new or preloved in good, clean, useable condition)
Snacks (Individually wrapped biscuits, cereal bars etc, crisps)

🛒 🛒 MAKE YOUR CO-OP SHOP GO FURTHER! 🛒 🛒

We are delighted that Compass Disability Services has been chosen as a Local Good Cause supported by the Co-op community fund between now and October 2027.

If you are a Co-op member, download the App and select us as YOUR good cause. All funds will enable Compass Wellbeing to continue to provide a Warm Welcome to people experiencing financial or mental health struggles. We offer a free hot meal, daily essentials and signposting to other support services. Giving those most in a need a moment of normalcy in an otherwise challenging world!

🥶Is it strange to be asking you to help us "Keep it Cool" as Winter approaches ?🥶

We all know how hot it was this Summer, so we only have until the Spring of 2027 to raise the funds we need to install Air Conditioning throughout the centre. The heat is dangerous for many of the customers, so air con is, not just desirable, but essential, so that they can continue to enjoy the activities that help them them stay physically and emotionally well, whatever the weather.

Compass Wellbeing needs help to raise the funds needed to install air conditioning throughout the centre. For some a luxury, but for us essential so that we can provide a safe comfortable space for the many vulnerable people who use the centre

Please help Compass Wellbeing extend our "warm welcome" into the Spring & Summer months, enabling us to continue providing a welcoming space for those in our community who need a meal, a drink, daily essentials, or just a chat in normal surroundings.
