Sonia brings with her a wealth of knowledge, extensive experience and a genuine passion for helping people maintain healthy, happy feet. 💜

With over 10 years of experience in foot care, Sonia has spent many years providing both clinic-based and domiciliary (home visit) appointments, supporting clients with their foot health, comfort and mobility.

Having developed a strong foundation of practical experience as a Foot Health Practitioner (FHP), Sonia has continued to build on her knowledge and expertise, qualifying as a podiatrist and bringing an even broader level of professional expertise to our growing team. 👣✨

What an absolutely amazing day! 🦶🩺💙

I travelled to Coventry on Thursday for the fantastic opportunity to attend the Cadaver Lab Dissection CPD day with Dr Ian Reilly and the lovely team! 🥰

I must admit, I was extremely nervous beforehand and really didn’t know what to expect, but WOW, what an incredible experience! ❤️ I learnt so much, and I’m so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and embraced this amazing opportunity! 🥹✨

Such a fascinating, interesting and educational day, with so much knowledge gained and lots to take away into my practice. 📚🦶

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a brilliant day, and most importantly, to those who so generously donated their bodies to science, making these invaluable learning experiences possible. ❤️

Lovely to share the experience with such a fantastic group of people, all passionate about learning and developing our skills! 💕

A little weekend catch-up and an exciting week ahead! ✨

What a lovely weekend! ❤️

Saturday involved some cold-water swimming in the lake 🥶💦 — definitely a case of taking a deep breath and just getting in! 😂 Followed by seeing Westlife 🎶❤️ What a combination of fresh air, bracing water and some brilliant music!

Now it’s time to get ready for another busy week ahead. 👣📚

My university studies are underway, I have a busy week seeing my lovely patients, and Thursday afternoon and Friday will be spent at a course at Coventry Hospital — always learning, developing and finding ways to bring even more knowledge and skills into my footcare practice. ✨

One thing that has made me smile recently is welcoming new patients who have booked in after I’ve seen their family member or friend. 🥰

Word-of-mouth recommendations really are the biggest compliment. ❤️ Knowing that someone has trusted me enough to recommend me to someone they care about means more than I can say.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, recommend and trust Staplehurst Footcare. As a small local business, it genuinely means the world to me. 🥹❤️

👣 FOOTCARE CONFESSIONS… LET’S BE HONEST! 😂

Come on… we’ve all been guilty of at least one of these! 👀

Which one are you? 👇

🙈 1. You leave your toenails until they’re way too long before cutting them.

✂️ 2. You cut your nails REALLY short because you think they’ll stay tidy for longer.

👢 3. You wear shoes because they look gorgeous… despite the fact your feet are screaming at you! 😂

🦶 4. You’ve got a little bit of hard skin or a corn that you keep telling yourself you’ll sort out… one day!

😬 5. Your feet have been bothering you for ages but you keep thinking, “It’ll be fine.”

🧦 6. You hide your feet in socks and shoes and hope nobody notices! 😂

❤️ 7. You actually look after your feet regularly and think footcare should be part of your self-care.

No judgement here… I’ve heard them all! 😂👣

Today would have been my wonderful Grandad’s birthday. ❤️

A man who gave so much love, kindness and care to everyone around him. He was incredibly generous.

He absolutely loved work and being active — cycling, walking and exercise were such a huge part of his life. 🚴‍♂️🥾❤️

Sadly, uncontrolled diabetes took its toll on him.

The damage to his small blood vessels and nerves led to neuropathy, loss of his sight and eventually amputations of his toes. 💔

Watching what diabetes did to such an active, wonderful man has stayed with me.

And in many ways, Grandad is where my passion for learning about feet began.

His story has driven me to learn more, understand diabetes and foot health, and do everything I can to help prevent the same devastating complications from happening to my Dad, my brother and to anyone else I have the privilege of helping along the way. 👣❤️

I know I can’t change what happened to Grandad, but I can take something from his story and use it to help others.

That is something I will always be incredibly passionate about.

So today, I’m remembering the wonderful man he was — his kindness, his humour, his generosity, his love of life and all the memories he gave us.

Happy birthday, Grandad. 🎂❤️

Thank you for giving me so much, and for inspiring a passion in me that I hope will make a difference to others.

You are loved, remembered and missed more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

A very special thank you to the incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous person who sent me the most beautiful, massive bunch of pink roses and the most wonderful note. 🌹💕✨

Sadly, there was no name on the note, so I have no idea who to thank personally — which makes it even more of a mystery! 🥰

But clearly, whoever you are, you know me very well! 😂🌸

The biggest bunch of gorgeous pink roses, arriving just when I’d left my flower wall at home… I honestly couldn’t have smiled more! 🌸🤣❤️

They have completely brightened my day and made me feel so very special.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. ❤️
