Even a Wellbeing & Mindset Coach has those days 🤦♀️💛
Technology and I haven't been getting along particularly well these past few days
Website PHP issues, Calendly refusing to communicate with my Exchange calendar, and now having to get my Facebook business page verified again, despite it having been verified before.
And when I headed out for a walk this morning to clear my head, I got caught in a downpour and came home soaked 🌧️😂 Sometimes you really do have to laugh.
But amongst all the frustration, there's been an important reminder. We don't have to do everything ourselves.
I have spent time trying to resolve these technical issues, but I have also recognised when something is beyond my expertise and reached out for help.
And isn't that something so many of us struggle with? We tell ourselves we should be able to cope, work things out, keep going and somehow have all the answers.
Yet knowing when to ask for support is a strength, not a weakness. It is something I often explore with my clients. Those expectations we place on ourselves, the pressure to manage everything and the guilt that sometimes comes with admitting we need help.
You can be capable, strong and resilient AND still need support.
So I am taking my own advice. Pausing when frustration builds, breathing, letting go of what I can't control and accepting help where I need it.
Because wellbeing isn't about never getting stressed or frustrated.
It's about how we recognise, respond to and support ourselves through those moments. 💛
A little booking update: My online booking system is currently experiencing some technical difficulties, but I am very much here and appointments are available.
If you would like to book a session, please send me a private message or email me directly, and I will be happy to help.
And perhaps a little reminder for you today:
What's one thing you have been struggling with that you could allow yourself to ask for help with?
You don't have to do it all alone. 💛
