💉 NHS & PRIVATE FLU VACCINATIONS HAVE COMMENCED💉

The response to our flu vaccination scheme at Treorchy Pharmacy has been fantastic already! If you’d like to get protected against flu this autumn/winter:

🚶 Walk-ins welcome - Weekdays 9am until 6pm

You may be eligible for a FREE NHS flu vaccination if you:

• Are aged 65 or over (including if you’ll turn 65 by 31 March 2027)
• Aged 18–64 with certain long-term health conditions such as diabetes, respiratory, cardiovascular diseases or if you are immunocompromised etc
• Pregnant
• Live in a care home
• If you are a main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive carer’s allowance.
• Live with someone who has a weakened immune system

If you’d like to get protected against flu this autumn/winter please pop and see us.

NHS vaccinations are FREE of charge & available to patients aged 65 years and over, or patients with chronic health conditions (such as diabetes/asthma/cardiovascular diseases), front line healthcare workers, carers or pregnant patients. You don’t need to be a regular patient with us, everyone is welcome. ☺️

We see people on a walk-in basis throughout the day. No appointments needed. We have both private and NHS flu vaccines in stock.

🦠 💉 📣 Treorchy Pharmacy will begin supplying private and NHS FLU VACCINATIONS from the 1st October!

No appointments needed, just walk in.

We’ll have 2 Pharmacists in all day to ensure wait times are minimised. All our normal NHS Services will run concurrently. If you have a common ailment or need advice or a treatment from one of our Independent Prescribing Pharmacists please just pop in. 🦠 💉 📣

💊 🩺 Treorchy Pharmacy can help with FREE NHS advice and treatment for ear infections and loss of hearing &/or pain caused by a build up of wax. 💊 🩺

👩‍⚕️ Our Independent Prescriber can examine your ears painlessly using an otoscope and determine whether FREE NHS treatment is required. Treatment options include: olive oil, oral antibiotics, pain relief and antibiotic sprays 👨‍⚕️

👂 In addition to our NHS offering, on TUESDAYS we also offer a private (paid) micro-suctioning service with our specialist Vicki too. Vicki charges £45 to remove wax from one ear, £60 for removal from both. Initial consultations are free of charge.👂
