PSA: The clocks go back tonight ⏰🌙

An extra hour in bed might sound like good news, but even a small shift in time can temporarily disrupt our internal body clock and affect how well we sleep.

If you wake earlier than you'd like tomorrow, try not to force yourself back to sleep just to “get” that extra hour. Get up, have some water, find some daylight when you can and ease into your morning as normally as possible.

Keeping your usual routines around waking, meals, movement and bedtime can all help your body adjust.

It may only be a one-hour change on the clock, but giving your body a little time to catch up can make the transition feel much easier 💚

How well is your workplace REALLY supporting employee wellbeing? 💭

It's easy to assume that having a wellbeing policy or a few initiatives in place means we're doing enough. But how confident are you that your employees feel genuinely supported?

Can people talk openly about stress without fear of judgement? Do managers recognise when someone is struggling? And does everyone know where to turn when they need help?

A thriving workplace is about more than occasional wellbeing activities. It's about creating a culture where people feel heard, valued and supported, even when workloads are high.

That's why we've created our Workplace Wellbeing Reflection Quiz.

Designed for employers, managers and business leaders, this short quiz encourages you to take a closer look at your organisation's approach to wellbeing, from communication and management support to workload pressures and ongoing improvement.

It's not a formal assessment, but a useful opportunity to recognise what's working well and identify areas where a little more attention could make a meaningful difference.

Because supporting your people shouldn't just be about responding when something goes wrong. It should be part of how your workplace works, every day.

Recent headlines have raised important questions about the quality and consistency of assessments, particularly those carried out privately.

And while it's right that assessment providers are held to high standards, we also recognise that these conversations can leave people feeling uncertain, especially those who have spent months or even years trying to understand their own experiences or access support for their child.

The important thing to remember is that not all assessment experiences are the same, and you have every right to ask questions before choosing a provider.

Who will carry out your assessment? What clinical guidance do they follow? How will your individual circumstances be considered? And what happens once the assessment is complete?

These are all reasonable questions, and a reputable provider should be able to answer them clearly.

💙 At Neuropathways Clinic, we believe assessments should be about understanding the individual, not simply reaching a diagnosis.

If you're exploring an ADHD or autism assessment for yourself or your child, we're here to help you understand your options.

Neuroinclusive workplaces aren’t created by knowing all the right terminology. They’re created in the everyday details.

Sending an agenda before a meeting. Being clear about which task takes priority. Giving someone time to process a question before expecting an answer. Looking at the sensory environment. Asking what support would help rather than making assumptions.

Small changes like these can remove barriers without lowering expectations, and help create a workplace where more people can thrive.

Our new Neurodiversity in Action resource, created by Time for Thriving and Neuropathways Clinic, is designed for managers, HR teams and organisational leads who want to turn awareness into something practical.

It explores ADHD, autism and other neurodevelopmental differences, alongside strengths, common workplace barriers, communication, sensory processing, executive functioning and practical ways to build a more neuro-affirming workplace.

Because doing things differently doesn’t mean doing them wrongly.

A healthy, thriving workplace doesn't happen by accident. It's shaped by leadership, culture, communication, and the support your people feel they can actually reach when they need it.

But how well is your workplace really doing? That's not always easy to see from the inside.

Our free Workplace Wellbeing Reflection Quiz gives you an honest snapshot in around 2 minutes. It's built for employers, managers and business leaders, and looks at five areas that shape how supported your team feels:

💬 Comfort - how openly people talk about stress and wellbeing
👥 Management - how confident managers feel spotting someone who's struggling
🧭 Support - how clear the routes to help really are
⚖️ Performance - how well you balance expectations with wellbeing
🔄 Review - how proactively you keep improving

At the end you'll get a personalised score and a clearer picture of where your workplace is strong and where there's room to grow. It's not a formal audit and there's nothing to prove, just a place to start.

When something traumatic happens at work, an accident, a sudden death, an assault, people don't remember the policy document. They remember how their employer showed up. Whether they felt safe, informed, and looked after in the hours that followed.

That's why the response can't be improvised on the day. The organisations that handle these moments well have already decided who does what, how they'll communicate, and where people can turn for support. It protects your team, and it protects the people carrying the weight of leading through it too.

Most people recover well from distressing events when the right support is there early and stays there in the weeks that follow. Having a plan ready is how you make sure it is.

If your workplace doesn't have that plan yet, we can help you build it.

Some of your most capable people may be spending huge amounts of energy just to look like they're coping. When that effort finally runs out, it's easy to mistake it for a performance problem, when it's actually a support problem.

Around one in five people are neurodivergent, and many adults have never been formally recognised. Without that understanding, the signs get misread: the missed deadline, the draining meeting, the brilliant colleague who quietly burns out. With the right clarity and a few well chosen adjustments, the same person can go from just about holding on to genuinely thriving, and their strengths finally get room to show.

If any of this sounds familiar, whether for someone in your team or for you, it's worth a conversation. Support, assessment and coaching are all available.

Your wellbeing provider sent you a usage report, but it doesn't tell you what you actually want to know.

Knowing how many people logged in isn't the same as knowing whether anyone got better. That's activity, not impact. Real results look different: validated clinical measures taken before and after support, lower absence, stronger retention, and people who tell you they feel clearer and more able to cope.

Here's our clinical team's rule of thumb. A wellbeing service should be able to show its difference, not just its usage. So ask yours one simple question: what outcomes data can you share? The answer will tell you a lot.
