Well done to all our staff who gave up their saturday to work the flu clinic. IT issues and people coming very early made for a bit of a queue first thing but you all did brilliantly and worked so hard to catch up. Thank you to everyone who attended for your patience

The surgery will be closed from 1:00pm tomorrow (Thursday 15th October) for mandatory staff training.
We will reopen at 8:00am Friday 16th September as usual.

💊 A shout-out to our pharmacists this World Pharmacists Day! 💙💚

You may not realise just how much pharmacists do. They are highly trained clinicians with a huge range of skills and expertise, playing an important role in supporting patients across healthcare.

From helping people get the most from their medicines, answering questions and spotting potential problems, to supporting long-term conditions, prescribing, medication reviews and working alongside the wider healthcare team, their role has become a pretty important part of modern healthcare.

And they're not just found behind the counter of your local pharmacy either.

Pharmacists are working across GP practices, hospitals, community services and many other parts of the NHS and wider health and care system.

So today, we're saying a big thank you to all the pharmacists across Cumbria and beyond for the knowledge, expertise and support they bring to patients and colleagues every day.
