Happy 4th birthday to Lulu and Happy 3rd birthday to Annie.
Sisters Lulu & Annie both celebrate their birthdays today, they are both part of our therapy team and are firm favourites of visitors. Lulu is a beautiful light rose grey but looks an apricot colour and has a fantastic thick fleece, she is a big cuddler. Annie is a bay black so looks mahogany brown when her fleece is fully grown but she is definitely a black alpaca. Both sisters have a wonderful personality and calmness which they get from their mum, Dandelion.
Annie celebrated by going on a trek and Lulu, although not haltered, came along for the hell of it! 🦙

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and supported us today, it was a great pleasure to talk to and spread the alpaca love around.
The winner of the raffle, which was drawn by Clare Ashford from BBC Radio Shropshire, was Steve, from Crew Green, who has won a trekking voucher to come back and walk with the alpacas 🦙
Another thank you goes to Alpaca Andy, who by contract, always has to help and does so without complaining. (Most of the time)
Then Linda who was an instrumental part of setting up and in charge of the raffle. (Love you sis ❤️)
Andrew who was supposed to be directing traffic but we found was better at carrot and apple distribution! (Very much needed)
And finally Amanda, who felt we should have an Open Day, and proceeded to sort out the advertising, marketing and then manned the gate.

We plan to have another towards the end of September weather depending 🦙❤️
