Cardiff and Caerphilly NCT Sling Library

Cardiff & Caerphilly NCT sling library is volunteer run by trained babywearing peer supporters and experienced babywearing mums.

If you are planning to hire a sling, please visit https://cardiffandcaerphillynctslings.myturn.com and register yourself. There are many different types of slings or carriers on the market these days, some are simple wraps and some have clips and buckles. Rather than buying one and it not quite working and getting resigned to the back of the cupboard why not come along to a sling library meeting where you can try the whole range, borrow one, two or more and see which works best for you and your child.

NCT has received a safety notice on Friday for a Fimghsoo sling. Sold on Amazon it claims to meet the 2015 standards but is being recalled because it offers insufficient support and a baby could slip out of the carrier, fall and suffer serious injury.

We do not stock these slings but if you have one please contact the retailer to return it and claim a refund on safety grounds. Please do not use it. Thanks
