Here I am doing something a bit different for the gram… 😃

As always, going against the advice to keep attention of watchers with bells & whistles… but let’s see shall we.

My intention is to start sharing a little behind the scenes of my life - in an effort to de-mystify and hopefully dissolve any assumptions or illusions around what is required to be a medicine woman and/or living in devotion.

You can definitely wear tracksuits to my ceremonies 🫶

I have spent many years learning from teachers, guides, elders, ancestors and Spirit allies of many descriptions. And I am deeply grateful for the wisdom, teachings and initiations I have received along the way.

But one of the most important things I have come to understand is that the purpose of learning is not to become a replica of the teacher, however wise they may be. It is to deepen our relationship with our own wisdom, and our own unique soul gifts.

To develop discernment, question, explore, experience and discover what is true for US. To honour lineages, traditions and ancient ways without becoming imprisoned by them.

To make space for new understandings, new expressions and new ways of being - a natural process within our continuous collective and personal evolution.

I believe the Medicine Women of our time have an important role to play in this. Not as unquestionable authorities, but as sovereign women, walking alongside others in their remembering.

This philosophy sits at the heart of my 1-2-1 mentorships.

I don’t teach women to become like me, and I know I can’t - and more importantly, it would be a disservice.

I support women to uncover, honour, hone and embody the medicine that is uniquely theirs.

Through healing, wisdom sharing, spiritual exploration, grounded guidance and practical support.

One of my greatest joys in this work is supporting other women to recognise, trust and SHARE their unique gifts with the world.

And over the years, I’ve witnessed just how many incredibly gifted, wise and devoted women are holding themselves back.

Not because they lack gifts, knowledge or even experience.

But because of the wounds, fears, beliefs and patterns that sit between what they KNOW they’re here to do and what they actually feel able to embody.

Sometimes it’s the fear of being seen.

Sometimes it’s a deep wound around worthiness, money or receiving.

Sometimes it’s the overwhelm of having a thousand ideas and no idea how to bring them into form.

Sometimes it’s the exhaustion of giving everything to others and leaving nothing for yourself.

And sometimes, it’s simply that you’ve spent so long looking outside yourself for the answers that you’ve forgotten how to trust your own.

My 1-2-1 mentorship is a space for us to meet ANY & ALL of this…

The human, the soul, the wounds, the gifts, the visions AND the practicalities of bringing your work into the world.

We weave deep healing with aligned action, spiritual exploration with grounded discernment, and ancient wisdom with new understandings.

I am not here to teach you my gifts or even how I do things. I believe that would be a disservice.

I’m here to support you in becoming more wholly, courageously and unapologetically YOU. To really hone your ability to listen and be guided from within.

And to help you bring that into service in a way that honours your body, your life and the world you wish to contribute to.

This is for the women who are hiding their medicine, or doubting its purity due to external perspectives 🌙

Here’s the unconfortable truth: Light draws darkness to surface. It illuminates what lives in the shadows.
And so, it will likely provoke attack - whether subtle or overt.

Whether you sing a song from the heart and are labelled a performer, or you let spirit move through your body and are labelled an attention-seeker… It is not personal.

You know your heart. You know your intention.

And, it’s not really about you. You are here to share the gifts you came to Earth with. No more no less. Whether publicly or alone in a dark room, please allow the light to pour through your body, your hands, your voice.

However it longs to move, your only job is to create the right conditions & let it.

I didn’t understand the reality of Ancestral Healing… until I did.

I didn’t really understand the reality of healing - despite years and multiple training courses… until I did. And yet, I remain open to being continuously humbled by the journey of learning!

It all sounds pretty wonderful to heal for your ancestors & the future of humanity - until you come face-to-face with the wounds & beliefs that require tending.

And the thing is, these wounds and beliefs don’t sit outside of you as something you are able to separate from. They are intricately interwoven into the you that exists because of those who came before you.

And honestly, this includes the courage your ancestors had that you don’t believe you are capable of sourcing AND the prejudice toward other humans that you don’t believe you are capable of feeling.

Ancestral healing is not soemething one should enter into lightly. I came to find this most uncomfortably 🫣

Even within Medicine Woman - my 18-month journey to become a space holder for feminine initiation & ancestral healing - we don’t delve into ancestral healing until almost a year down the line.

Until I know my students have honed their ability to create and hold a contained space, and have created strong relationships with their spirit allies.

I’m sharing this because as we move towards the season of ancestral connection and the thinning of the veil between worlds, it’s important we acknowledge the opportunity, the burdens and the blessings.

My advice to anyone wanting to honour their ancestors would be this:
- Ensure you are clear who you are calling upon to work with (the ancient, wise, luminous & well ancestors)
- If you choose to work with more recent ancestors, ask that it is only the fully liberated & transitioned spirits you hold space for or call upon.

This may sound a little fear-led, but it comes from my experience having been humbled many times by the work.
