Wigwonders Ltd – Business Opportunity

Although Wigwonders is now closed to customers, the business remains available for sale and is ready for someone to take it forward and build on the foundations I have created.

I am looking for someone who shares the same passion, commitment and dedication that I have had for the business over the past 12 years. A hairdressing background would be a bonus, particularly for someone looking to expand or diversify their existing business.

Wigwonders has been one of the most incredibly rewarding ventures of my life. Over the past 12 years, I have built a well-established business dedicated to supporting women experiencing hair loss due to medical treatment or alopecia.

The business has secured two NHS provider contracts and established five trade accounts with well-known wig companies, alongside a recognised brand, website and other valuable business assets.

Included in the sale:

Wig stock and bandanas

Two NHS provider contracts

Five established trade accounts with wig suppliers

Wigwonders logos and branding

Business website

Other stock, equipment and business assets

This is an opportunity for someone to take over an established business and develop it further, with the potential to build on the foundations already in place.

🌸 WIGWONDERS IS STILL UP FOR SALE 🌸

It’s been an absolute pleasure helping so many wonderful clients with their wig needs over the years. ❤️

I’ve had lots of interest in Wigwonders, but as of yet, I haven’t found the right person who truly ticks all the boxes to take the business forward.

I’m looking for a compassionate, caring hairdresser who would love the opportunity to continue supporting clients and working with some of the best wig companies in the industry.

Wigwonders currently has 5 established trade accounts, and I’ve built strong working relationships with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust.

I was originally based in Hucknall, but I’m open to the business being based anywhere within the Nottingham or Derby local area, which could make this a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

This is much more than simply taking over a business — it’s the opportunity to continue something that has been built with care, compassion and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident in themselves. ❤️

I would like to sincerely thank all my customers whom I have had the pleasure of seeing over the past 12 years.

Wigwonders started as a dream that I turned into a reality. It has been the most rewarding job I have ever done, and I have made some wonderful friends along the way too.

It has been a privilege to help clients with advice, wigs and toppers, wig cutting, head coverings, reconditioning, and much more. Whether it has been due to treatment or living with alopecia, I have always tried my very best to listen and advise on the best options for you.

It is now time for me to say goodbye and begin a new chapter in my life. Family commitments mean that I now need to take early retirement.

I am currently in the process of selling the business as a going concern, so all client information will be transferred to the new owner. Although I am now closed, I will update everyone when I know more.

After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to take early retirement and place Wigwonders up for sale due to family commitments.
Wigwonders has been built from a dream I had over 12 years ago, and while this decision hasn’t been easy, the time has come to hopefully pass the business on to someone who shares the same passion and dedication that I do.
The past 12 years have been incredibly rewarding — without doubt the most fulfilling career I have ever had. Since relocating to Hucknall, Nottingham, Wigwonders has grown into the successful business it is today.
Along the way, I have secured two NHS provider contracts, allowing support for treatment and alopecia clients with a wide range of hair loss needs. I have also established five wig accounts with well-known wig companies, alongside many other valuable business assets.
If you are a hairdresser within the Nottinghamshire area looking to train or expand your business to include wigs, I would love to hear from you.
The business remains fully operational as usual for the time being, and I am more than happy to provide any training required during the transition.
Finally, I would like to thank all of my wonderful clients I’ve met throughout this journey. It has truly been a privilege to support and help so many people, and I will miss you all greatly.
