Meet local artists, creators, makers and bakers at the Pre-Christmas Artisan Market. We'll have gifts you can tick off your list, knowing that you've bought something made with love and care.

Testing some new glazes with interesting results. We had a power cut part way through the glaze firing so I have no idea if these are the colours they should be, nor if I could reproduce them without a similar power cut. So the trick is to enjoy them just as they are.

Restart a Heart Day takes place on Friday 16 October. This global day raises awareness of cardiac arrest and the lifesaving difference CPR and defibrillators can make. Here are four things we can all do to help give someone the best chance of survival:

1) Learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Anyone can learn with our free online training tool, RevivR. It only takes 15 minutes, and one day those skills could help save a life. https://www.bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-help/how-to-save-a-life/how-to-do-cpr/learn-cpr-in-15-minutes

2) In an emergency, every second counts. Knowing where to find your nearest defibrillator could save precious time and help save a life. Find yours here: https://www.defibfinder.uk/

3) Register your defibrillator on The Circuit. If there's a defibrillator in your workplace, community venue or organisation, make sure it's registered on The Circuit so ambulance services know where to find it when it's needed most. https://www.thecircuit.uk/

4) Help get a defibrillator in your community. Eligible community groups can apply for a fully funded defibrillator. Find out more here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-help/how-to-save-a-life/defibrillators/apply-for-a-free-defibrillator-for-your-community

Together, we can help save more lives from cardiac arrest.

The many colours of a Welsh beach ❤️ I've never seen so many different types of rock in one place. I could be slightly obsessed with Rock Spotting... It makes for a very mindful, calm walk.
