Living with chronic pain often leaves you feeling stuck, frustrated & battling fear.

But a small shift in your inner dialogue might help. 💗

When symptoms rise up, pause and be quietly curious...
“Hmm, I wonder what subconscious memory or emotion was nudged open just then?"

Remember, activation of learned circuits in your busy brain can also lead to pain... It's not necessarily due to what's happening in the tissues of your body.

And be content whether an answer comes to you or not... Release the pressure to "know".

Gentle curiosity can help replace misplaced fear.

💗 From “I’m broken” to “I can recover.”

The way we talk to ourselves influences the processes that produce the pain we feel.

Perhaps, instead of automatically seeing persisting pain as something still being wrong with your body, maybe try to view it from a broader possibility - as a warning signal from your experienced, wise brain that's aiming to protect the "whole you", mind with body.

By being curious to learn more about the bigger picture of pain, and to take a step back to view your own life & work from a more objective, compassionate perspective, you may find you're taking fresh new steps towards recovery & better performance. 🌿

💌 If you'd like to understand this broader perspective better, download your free guide, *The Truth About Pain*.

By changing your understanding of how pain is generated & perceived, you may change your experience of your pain.**

The pain you feel is very real - you're not making it up. 🤍 But pain isn't always a sign of damage in your body.

Chronic stress, life's challenges, big and small, & underlying emotional turmoil can accumulate & influence how your brain generates pain.

Understanding the connection between your mind, body, emotions and life can open the door to new possibilities for recovery.

✨ The first step is often more understanding of the mechanisms that lead to symptoms persisting.

🌿 Small shifts in how you understand pain can open new possibilities for relief & recovery.

Your brain and what you feel in your body are always connected, and accepting this intricate connection is often the first step towards recovery. 🤍

✨ Are you ready to find out if your symptoms are more likely due to changeable nerve pathways, rather than what's going on in your body alone?

If you've tried treatment after treatment... but your pain keeps returning, it can be beyond exhausting not knowing what to do next.

But pain is more complex than many of us realise.

Active neural circuits in our brain are responsible for all pain we perceive in our body.

Which explains why pain is able to persist even when there is no relevant tissue damage in our body.

Perhaps this applies to you? If so...

This opens the door to new ways of approaching your recovery, helping you
🌿 let go of the fear of your symptoms and
🌿 discover how to deactivate those pain circuits.

Living with chronic pain is exhausting, and perhaps even more so if you're still determined to achieve your next business goals without allowing focus on "you" too. 🤍

As I am doing in my working break-away in Croatia (lucky me!), giving yourself permission to slow down, take a breath, and make time for yourself is an important part of sustainable success too.

Rest is not a weakness - it's an essential part of growth, whether we're talking body or mind, muscles or thinking clearly! 🌿

**It's in those moments of peace that mind & body can shift towards recovery.** 🤍
