A very warm welcome to our 14 new care homes!

What an incredible week it's been for everyone at Strong Life Care!

We're delighted to welcome 14 new care homes, over 1,000 colleagues and around 700 residents into the Strong Life Care family.

It's a huge milestone for us, tripling the number of beds we provide and bringing our family of care homes into new communities across the North West and Norfolk, while continuing to grow across Yorkshire and the Humber and the North East.

But what makes this occasion really special is the people.

Our Strong Life Care colleagues have been incredibly busy over the past few days, travelling across the country, spending time away from their own families and working long hours to help everyone settle into this new chapter.

To all our colleagues who've worked so hard behind the scenes and out in our homes – a massive thank you! We know how much effort has gone into making this happen.

And to the Home Managers and teams at our 14 new homes, thank you for the lovely welcome you've given us. It's been a pleasure meeting so many of you, and we're really looking forward to getting to know everyone better.

We also want to extend a particularly warm welcome to our new residents and their families. We know how important it is to feel comfortable, happy and reassured about the place you call home. Our priority is to make sure that continues, while supporting the wonderful teams who care for you.

Our founder and Chairman, Harpreet Banwait, has always had a clear ambition for Strong Life Care – to build the UK's most trusted independent, family-owned care group. And although we're growing quickly, the family values that brought us this far remain just as important.

For us, Celebrating Lives isn't just something we say. It's about the people we care for, the colleagues we work alongside and the friendships and memories made in our homes every day.

There's plenty more to come, but for now, we're taking a moment to celebrate this fantastic achievement and welcome everyone joining us.

🎉 We love seeing our people progress – and this week we have two very well-deserved promotions to celebrate!

A huge congratulations to Uzair Ali, who has moved from Deputy Manager at Cooper House in Bradford to become Home Manager at Earls Lodge Care Home in Wakefield.

Uzair has built up a wealth of experience over the years and has grown enormously in confidence and leadership. He’s already getting stuck into life at Earls Lodge and sharing some of that Uzair magic with residents and the team!

And, of course, Uzair’s move left some pretty big shoes to fill at Cooper House…

Step forward Courtney Kozlow!

Courtney has worked at Cooper House for an incredible 10 years, gaining experience, taking on more responsibility and becoming a hugely valued member of the team. So when it came to appointing a new Deputy Manager, the choice felt like a very natural one.

We’re incredibly proud to see two people who have worked hard, developed their careers and earned the opportunity to take that next step.

As Strong Life Care continues to grow, we want our people to grow with us too. Keeping great people, developing their skills and giving them opportunities to progress is so important to us.

Congratulations Uzair and Courtney – these roles are thoroughly deserved and we can't wait to see what you both do next! 👏

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars – not once, but twice!

What a week for Strong Life Care and our amazing teams.

We’re celebrating 5-star food hygiene ratings at both Cooper House Care Home in Bradford and Croft House Care Home in Gawthorpe, Ossett.

Two homes. Two kitchen teams. Two fantastic results. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

At Cooper House, this latest achievement is another milestone in the home’s continued transformation. Alongside its 99.24% infection control score, brilliant inspection feedback and significant investment in the home, there is a real sense of pride and positivity across the team.

And now our team at Croft House has even more reason to celebrate too, achieving the same top food hygiene rating.

These results don't happen by accident.

They come from people taking pride in what they do every day – maintaining standards, supporting one another and understanding that every detail contributes to the experience of the people living in our homes.

As Strong Life Care continues to grow, this is exactly what we want to see.

Growth shouldn't come at the expense of quality.
Scale shouldn't come at the expense of culture.

We want our standards to become even stronger as we grow – and weeks like this show what our teams are capable of.

Our Strong Life Care family is growing – and so is the team supporting our homes.

We’re really pleased to welcome two new members of our leadership team:

Alison Ramsey – Head of Quality and Compliance
Ruth Todd – Regional Manager, North East

With more growth and further acquisitions in the pipeline, it’s incredibly important that we continue investing in the people who support our homes, our colleagues and, most importantly, our residents.

Alison will be working across Strong Life Care to support our teams, strengthen quality and compliance, and share best practice, while Ruth will provide additional leadership and support for our homes in the North East.

As we grow, we want every home joining the Strong Life Care family to retain its own personality and community connections while benefiting from the support, experience and resources of the wider Group.

It’s an exciting time for everyone at Strong Life Care, but our purpose remains the same: great care, strong teams and Celebrating Lives every day.

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome four wonderful care homes and their residents, families and colleagues into the Strong Life Care family:

This is a really exciting milestone for Strong Life Care and our continued growth across Yorkshire – but today, more than anything, we want to say a huge WELCOME to everyone joining us! 💚

Each of these homes has its own story, its own community and, most importantly, fantastic teams who work incredibly hard every day to care for and support their residents.

We’re not here to change what makes these homes special. We want to celebrate the great work already being done, listen to our new colleagues and support them with continued investment, development and opportunities for the future.

We’re also incredibly proud that Strong Life Care is now the largest family-owned care home provider in the Wakefield area, providing 190 bedrooms locally – a very special milestone for a business that began right here in Wakefield in 2010.

As we continue to grow, our values remain the same: our residents, our people and our communities come first.
