People-pleasing isn’t always about being nice. Sometimes it’s about being so afraid of upsetting others that you end up constantly upsetting yourself.

You say yes when you mean no. Apologise when you’ve done nothing wrong. Over-explain yourself just to avoid being misunderstood.

And somewhere along the way, you mistake keeping everyone happy for being a good person.

Here’s your Headstrong reminder 🧡

You can be kind and still have boundaries. You can care about people and still disappoint them.

Being a good person shouldn’t come at the expense of your own wellbeing.

You matter in the equation too.

Sometimes you’ve got to get out of your head and into your body.

We talk about physical health and mental health like they’re two separate things. They’re not.

When life feels like one thing after another, it’s so easy to get stuck in your own head, overthinking absolutely everything.

But here’s the science behind why moving your body can genuinely help.

Exercise releases chemicals like endorphins and influences neurotransmitters involved in mood, including dopamine and serotonin. It can help reduce stress, improve sleep and ease symptoms of anxiety and depression.

But it’s not just about the chemicals.

It’s that feeling afterwards. Your head feels a bit clearer, you’ve had some time to yourself and, even if the rest of your day has been an absolute shambles, you’ve achieved something.

A little win. A bit of confidence back. A reminder that you’re still capable of showing up for yourself.

For me, that’s training. I’ve just had 8 weeks out and been inside my head. For someone else it might be walking, dancing around the kitchen or just getting outside.

It doesn’t fix everything going on in your life, but it can change how you feel and how equipped you are to deal with it.

Your mental health and physical health aren’t separate. It’s all health. Reset whenever you need to as many times as you need to. Set backs are temporary, come backs are personal 💪

Hi, I’m Jade 👋

I’ve noticed a few new faces round here recently, so welcome! And to everyone who’s been here a while… yes, I’ve been more than a little quiet 🙈

There’s been lots (and LOTS) going on, and I’ve taken some time out to slow down, breathe and figure out what I actually want next. Still working on that one, to be honest 😂

But it felt like the right time to properly (re)introduce myself. Who I am, what Headstrong Co. is about, and why I do what I do.

Swipe through to get to know me ➡️

If any of it sounds familiar, you’re definitely not alone. And I’d love to know a bit about you too, so say hi in the comments 🫶

“It’s like you’ve written down exactly how my brain works.”

That’s the whole point, and I’ve reread these messages more times than I’d admit 🥹

I wrote this workbook because anxiety is so often met with “just breathe” or “think positive.” When your nervous system is in charge, that advice doesn’t land.

So this book explains why you feel the way you do. No jargon, no “just relax.” Just what’s actually happening in your body, and small, doable steps to bring yourself back down.
If you’ve ever read something and thought “OMG, that’s me,” this one’s for you.

Most of my mental health and wellbeing workbooks are now sold through Amazon, but I’ve got 6 copies of the anxiety booker and 2 copies of my introduction to understanding emotions left at home and I’d much rather they went to someone who would get some use out of them! 📖💛

They’re £13.99 each, plus postage, or you’re welcome to collect for free if you’re local. I’ll also sign your copy and include a free printable check-in sheet.

I wrote this workbook to help people better understand anxiety, what’s actually happening in our brains and bodies, and most importantly, what we can do to manage it.

It’s full of practical tools, simple explanations and things you can actually put into practice. No complicated jargon or unrealistic advice.

If you’re someone who overthinks everything, struggles to switch off or constantly feels on edge, this might be a good place to start.

Just drop me a message if you’d like one! 💛

The Headstrong Co. Anxiety Workbook helps you understand what’s happening, notice your patterns and find practical ways to steady yourself when your mind gets loud.

Your brain gives you warning signs long before it runs out. Suicidal thoughts are one of the loudest, and they deserve to be taken seriously, not hidden. If this is you today, please reach out. Numbers are on the last slide. 💛

Anxiety has entered the chat… again 📱

The unread message. Cancelling plans because staying home feels safer. Your heart racing and convincing yourself that something must be wrong. Replaying one conversation 40 times and somehow deciding every version was your fault.

Anxiety can make uncertainty feel like danger and thoughts feel like facts. I always ask Is that fact? Or is it a feeling?

But when you begin to understand what’s actually happening in your mind and body, you can learn how to respond differently instead of constantly fighting against it.

That’s exactly why I created the Headstrong Co. Anxiety Workbook. To help you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system and find practical ways to manage anxiety.

Available now through the link in my bio 🤎

Sometimes healing starts with permission.

Sometimes healing starts with being told:

You’re allowed to feel how you feel.
You’re not too much.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.

Therapy isn’t about fixing people; it’s about creating enough safety and understanding for people to begin trusting themselves again.

Reviews like this mean everything, and it’s the reason I love my job
