Work-related stress isn't shared equally. In the UK, women report it at 3,220 per 100,000 workers, compared with 1,980 for men (HSE).

You’ve looked at coaching, downloaded the app, read about the programme, and still not started, because you couldn’t see where any of it would fit in your week.

That hesitation makes sense. Signing up for something that doesn’t fit your life becomes one more thing to keep up with.

The Women’s Wellbeing Lab brings elements of all three together, in one online space designed specifically for women. Every level starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can change levels, add support or cancel any time. So you get to see whether it fits your life before a single payment is taken.

And if you’d like a starting point before that, the Pause Practice is free and takes 10 minutes.

Exhausted, and not sure which part of recovery to start with?

Research on recovering outside work points to four separate experiences: switching off from work, relaxing, doing something that builds a sense of achievement, and having a say over how your time is spent. For many women, one of those is missing more than the others, and more rest on its own doesn’t reach it.

Women’s wellbeing is widely discussed. So are the gaps in support. What’s missing is something that helps you do something about it.

The Pause Practice is a free, 10-minute wellbeing tool, no account needed. It helps you get clear on what’s getting in the way, and where to begin.

Exhausted from work and life's demands, but telling yourself it isn't bad enough yet to ask for support?

Many women wait until things feel serious enough before they look for help. You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. Wanting to improve your wellbeing is enough of a reason to start.

It's called the Women's Wellbeing Lab because of how it works: you pause and take a moment for yourself, build clarity, take some actions, and experiment to see what works for you.

If you'd like to start where you are right now, the Pause Practice is a free 10-minute wellbeing tool to help you make a start today. Follow the link in my bio.

Let me introduce myself.

I'm Elizabeth, founder of the Women's Wellbeing Lab. I created it because I kept seeing the same gap.

Women's health research is moving forward, with more female participants and more focus on female biology. When it comes to women's wellbeing, though, there's still a gap. Women face huge expectations, with competing demands, roles, responsibilities and ambitions, and trying to do it all affects how they feel.

There's no shortage of conversation about women's wellbeing. What's in short supply is support designed specifically for women.

So I designed the Women's Wellbeing Lab around the reality of women's lives: self-paced tools, coaching videos and activities you can use whenever you need them, with coaching as part of your membership. Everything is grounded in evidence and starts from self-compassion.

Offered a wellbeing programme through work, but it didn't feel right for you?

An employer's programme is usually designed for a whole workplace, often with engagement and productivity in mind.

The Women's Wellbeing Lab is designed specifically for women's wellbeing. It's shaped around you and your needs, at whatever time and pace fits your life, rather than an employer's goals.

If you'd like wellbeing support that starts with your own goals, the free, ten-minute Pause Practice is a place to begin today.

Resting more, but still exhausted by work?

Rest helps, but it's only one part of recovery. You can rest physically and still not recover if you can't mentally switch off from work, or if you have little real control over how your personal time is used.

For many women, that personal time is limited. UK figures show women have less leisure time each week than men.

So recovery may need more than extra rest and sleep.

Always the one who gets asked, because you'll get it done?

For many women, extra work arrives one small favour at a time. Research shows women are asked more often to take on tasks that don't help their progression, and say yes more often too. You can decide today to handle this differently.

Wanted wellbeing support somewhere between an app and paying for a coach?

The Women's Wellbeing Lab has three levels. Essentials costs about the same as a wellbeing app. As you move up, you get more coaching sessions and different types of session.

Guided Growth gives you the most one-to-one coaching with me, including preparation and research into the wellbeing areas you're focused on, follow-up afterwards, and accountability between sessions.

Whatever your time, energy or budget, there's a level that fits around your life.

Finished work hours ago, but your mind is still there?

Research has identified four ways we recover from work stress in our time off: switching off mentally, relaxation, mastery through activities that build skill away from work, and control over how our personal time is spent.

Each one contributes separately, so when one is missing, it can limit your recovery and your wellbeing outside work.

If you'd like to create some distance between you and work, the free, ten-minute Pause Practice is a place to start today.
