Meet Lynn and Tony, who recently visited Wheels for All to build their confidence on two wheels ahead of their holiday to Sark! 🌞

Having not been on a bicycle for almost 50 years, they wanted to brush up on their cycling skills before their trip – and what better way to get started than with Wheels for All? 🙌

It's never too late to rediscover the joy of cycling, and we're delighted to have helped Lynn and Tony feel more confident and ready for their holiday adventure!

We hope you both had a fantastic time exploring Sark! 💚

At Wheels for All, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the freedom, fun and joy of cycling. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

A lovely update from our Kendal Hub 🚲🥰

Every mile comes with a smile at Wheels for All Kendal! 🚲😊

Reading about the 5 Miles With Smiles challenge reminded us why we love using the canal towpath for our inclusive cycling sessions.

Every week, our participants enjoy the freedom of cycling in a safe and scenic environment. Whether it's building confidence, improving wellbeing, reconnecting with a lifelong love of cycling, or simply enjoying time outdoors with friends, we see the benefits of these sessions first hand.

The smiles, conversations, achievements, and sense of community we experience on every ride show just how powerful accessible cycling can be.

Because sometimes the best part of the journey is the smile it brings. 💙

We’re incredibly proud of Lucy, our Inclusive Cycling Coordinator for Cumbria and Lancashire, who is stepping outside her comfort zone to raise money for two charities close to her heart: CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and Wheels for All! ✨🙌

Lucy is taking on two challenges over the coming months:

• November 2026: A 25K trail run at Kendal Mountain Festival. ⛰
• April 2027: The Manchester Marathon! 🏃‍♀️

Lucy is raising funds to support CRY’s vital work in preventing young sudden cardiac deaths, as well as Wheels for All’s mission to make cycling accessible and inclusive for disabled people and those with additional needs.

Both causes make a huge difference to people’s lives, and we’re delighted to see Lucy putting herself to the test to support them.

If you’re able to support Lucy’s fundraising, every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and help make all those training miles worthwhile!

Good luck, Lucy - we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️
