💛 THURSDAYS ARE MY NEW FAVOURITE DAY OF THE WEEK! 💛
Honestly, I am absolutely LOVING Thursdays at the moment! 🥰 I start every Thursday now with a morning walk with a lovely group of people from SENDure CIC, and this morning was just gorgeous. We were SEVEN lovely ladies together, and it reminded me once again how beautiful the simplest things in life can be.
There was no pressure, no expectations, no need to keep up with anyone. We all started off together, but one lady decided she wanted to get her steps in, so after a little chat, off she tootled with her dog! 🐕 One lady brought her granddaughter along, too, so we had a lovely mixture of people, all coming together in their own way.
And that’s exactly what I LOVE about it. ❤️
We walked, we chatted, we laughed, we shared little bits of our lives, and we got a few things off our chests along the way. No big agenda. No need to have it all together. Just people being people. And do you know what? I think this is what we’re missing so much in modern life.
We were never meant to do everything alone. We evolved in communities, in tribes, sharing our experiences, supporting one another, laughing together and helping to carry life’s burdens.
Sometimes, you don’t need someone to fix anything. You just need to get outside, have a little natter, feel connected and remember that you’re not doing life on your own. 💛
And then… Thursdays just keep getting better!
This evening, I’m running WEEK FIVE of my Nervous System Reset: Understanding Anxiety and Stress in Your Body course, and honestly, WOW! 🥹✨ The results these ladies are experiencing are just remarkable.
One lady shared that the body scan we did in our VERY FIRST WEEK is now something her seven-year-old son does. In fact, he INSISTS on doing it before he goes to sleep!❤️
A little boy learning to tune into his body, take a moment for himself and settle before bedtime. And a mum who can share something she’s learning with her child. How absolutely GORGEOUS is that?!
This is why I do what I do.
It’s not just about helping someone feel less anxious today. It’s about giving people tools they can take into their everyday lives, share with their families and pass on to the next generation. Because imagine what life might look like if we all learned to understand our emotions, recognise what our bodies are telling us and knew how to help ourselves feel calmer, rather than spending years thinking there’s something wrong with us. 💛
So today, I’m feeling incredibly grateful.
Grateful for seven lovely ladies who got out of bed and came for a walk.
Grateful for the conversations, the laughter and the little moments of connection.
Grateful for the women who are showing up for themselves in my course and making such beautiful changes.
And grateful that a little body scan is now part of a seven-year-old’s bedtime routine. 🥰
Connection is powerful. Learning is powerful. And sometimes the smallest things create the biggest ripples. 🌊💛
