Hello and Welcome to Moon Rise Therapies. A complementary, alternative health practice situated in the beautiful rural setting of Whitchurch, Shropshire. My name is Feria Carter Stevenson MFHT, MAR. I am a certified and registered Holistic Health Practitioner. I am a Clinical Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist, Crystal Therapist & Nutrition advisor. I support a wide range of clients with interest in Women's Health and Mental health...
Stress and Anxiety concerns. I am passionate about supporting people to look after themselves. To take time to focus on what they need to help them to be the best and healthiest version of themselves. Making some time and learning how to support their health and wellbeing in a natural way. Clients who take responsibility for their health and make small changes and are consistent, I have seen make great improvements in their physical and mental health. I am inspired everyday by the therapies I offer as I see first hand the positive difference they make to my clients . I am also extremely honoured to be able to treat children with Reflexology and Functional Reflex Therapy. Both work well in helping to support children who are experiencing high levels of anxiety and stress. I offer a wide selection of therapies from my practice that is situated in a beautiful quiet countryside setting. A relaxing, calming & therapeutic experience. ✨ Card of the Day – Cycle Breaker ✨

Good morning my beauties & welcome to today’s card. ….

On my 1st reading of this card - if we look at it literally
- CYCLE BREAKER -

it’s easy to think it may be about the bigger patterns we inherit from our ancestors parents etc…. and carry through life.

However today, I found myself wondering if it can also speak to the smaller cycles we live every day.

The habits we fall into.
The stories we keep telling ourselves.
The routines that quietly disconnect us from who we are.

Sometimes breaking a cycle doesn’t have to be a dramatic moment. It can begin with one conscious choice.

Life has a way of pulling us in different directions, and it’s easy to drift away from the things that help us feel most like ourselves.

Today was a gentle reminder that we can always choose to return. One breath. One moment. One small step.

🌿 Reconnecting 🌿

Hello my beauties….

I know i’ve been quiet for a while.

Many of you have noticed my absence and have reached out with messages, kindness and support. I just want to say thank you.

To those who have checked in, continued to reach out, and are still supporting me, it means more than you know. It truly means everything.

Life has taken me down a path I wasn’t expecting this year, and my focus has needed to be on my health and taking care of myself.

If I’m honest, that’s been quite an adjustment, as I’m far more used to being the one looking after everyone else.

The good news is that I’m feeling better than I have for a while, and it feels good to be reconnecting again.

Work is still on hold for now however when the time is right I will let you know.

As we move towards Solstice, I’m finding myself looking forward to the light, the warmth and the season ahead.

I’m also finding myself wanting to reconnect with the things I’ve missed, including this lovely community.

I’ve missed you all.

Happy Monday my beauties, embracing those New Moon Vibes ….🌒🌑🌘

This New Moon carries such strong, steady energy…

The kind that reminds us that slow progress is still progress and the work you’ve been doing (even quietly, even imperfectly) is building something real.

Capricorn doesn’t rush. It roots.

It asks us to come back to discipline as devotion… not pressure.

To choose what we’re committing to this year, and to keep showing up for it in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.

Working with Bay ….diffuser blend 🌿

This blend grew very naturally out of the week I’ve been having.

Bay was always going to be the lead here — for clarity, focus, and that sense of gathering my thoughts and energy back in.

However what really makes this blend feel the way it does are the other two oils.

Cedarwood needles almost feel like a happy accident in my life.
I picked this oil up at an aromatherapy connection day years ago from the supplier, when they were being given away, not really knowing much about it at all.

It’s since become one of my absolute favourites — easily in my top ten. I adore it.

It brings me genuine joy when I smell it and when I blend with it.

There’s something so green, alive, and quietly uplifting about it that just makes me smile.

When I was putting this blend together, I did initially think about adding a citrus ….something like pink grapefruit to cut through and lift it.
And while it was fresh and clear, it didn’t feel quite right for this time of year. It felt more like a spring energy — outward, bright, and forward-moving.

What this blend actually needed was warmth.

Something internal. Something that could support focus and clarity while still feeling held, especially as we’re still very much in winter….in these deep, Cailleach months.

That’s where cardamom came in. Just a tiny drop was enough. It softened the blend, warmed it from the inside, and gave it that sense of being gently hugged rather than sharpened.

This has become a really supportive diffuser blend for me while I focus, organise, and bring some steadiness into my days — clarity with warmth, not pressure…
