Your eyes look tired even when you’re not? Let’s talk about those hooded eyelids.

Hooded eyelids, crepey skin and fine lines can make your eyes look heavier than you feel and eye cream alone may not address every concern.

✨ Plasma pen uses controlled thermal energy to create tiny areas of injury on the skin, triggering a healing response and tissue contraction.

⏳ Results aren't instant. Healing takes days, while improvements develop over 12 weeks as the skin remodels.

But it's important to know that plasma pen isn't a surgical eyelid lift and it cannot remove excess skin. It can however reduce the appearance of loose skin, wrinkles and signs of aging.

The goal? To determine whether this treatment is suitable for your eyelids and set realistic expectations.

Booking lip filler with a dodgy practitioner because they're £50 cheaper is WILD.

Girl, you're choosing someone to inject a substance into one of the most vascular areas of your face but your main qualification criteria is that they have a discount code?!

🚩 No proper consultation?
🚩 No medical history taken?
🚩 No clear information about the product?
🚩 No emergency protocol?
🚩 No proper aftercare or follow-up?

But they've got 20% off this weekend.

Your lips are not a SHEIN haul. You can't just return them if the result isn't what you expected.

Lip filler complications can be serious, including vascular occlusion, which can threaten the skin and, rarely, vision. Please don't choose your practitioner based on price alone.

Look for appropriate qualifications, prescribing arrangements, insurance, safe clinical practice and someone who can explain the risks without making you feel awkward for asking.

And if a practitioner tells you that you don't need more filler? That might be the biggest green flag of all. 💚

Save money on your next handbag. Not on who you trust with your face.

Those fine vertical lines around the mouth aren't just caused by smoking!

Several factors contribute to perioral lines as we age:

🧬 Collagen & elastin loss: skin gradually loses firmness and elasticity.

☀️ Sun damage: UV exposure breaks down collagen and elastin.

🍬 Glycation: sugars react with proteins like collagen, forming AGEs that can affect skin structure and elasticity.

💋 Repeated movement: talking, pursing your lips and changes in lip support can make lines more noticeable.

how do we treat them?

✨ Microneedling: can stimulate collagen and improve the appearance of fine lines and skin texture over a course of treatments.

✨ fine filler: softens lines by providing subtle support where appropriate.

Why combine them? Because skin quality and volume support are two different things and sometimes addressing both gives a better result than focusing on just one.

The goal isn't to erase every line or change your lips.

It's to soften what bothers you while keeping your results natural.

If I had £400 to spend on my face, I wouldn't automatically spend it on treatments or skincare.

I'd want to know what would genuinely make the biggest difference to me first.

Because your priorities might be completely different to mine.

You might need to get your skincare routine right before considering treatments.

You might want to focus on skin texture or quality.

You might have one specific concern that could be addressed with a carefully chosen treatment.

And you might not need to spend your whole budget at all.

This is why I don't believe in choosing treatments just because they're popular or because someone else has had a great result.

It's about working out what's right for YOU, in the right order, with a plan that makes sense.

You don't need to arrive at my clinic knowing exactly what you want. Tell me what you'd like to improve, and we can talk through your options.

No shopping list. No pressure to spend more. Just an honest conversation.

If you've been wondering where to start, my DMs are open. 💬

I mean priorities🤣 it's chemical peel season and I just love that skin glow

If this were my face, I wouldn’t start with Botox or filler.

I know, not exactly what you’d expect an aesthetic practitioner to say!

But I wouldn't automatically jump to injectables just because I was noticing changes in my face.

I'd look at the bigger picture first.

✨ How is my skin quality?
✨ Am I looking after my skin properly?
✨ What is actually bothering me?
✨ What would make the biggest difference, rather than just adding more?

The point is, I wouldn't choose a treatment just because it's popular. I'd choose based on what I actually needed.

That's how I approach my clients, too. I want to understand the person, their concerns and their goals before recommending anything.

Good aesthetics isn't about doing everything. It's about knowing what is right for YOU.

So, I'm curious: if you could improve one thing about your skin or face, what would it be? 👇

This is your sign to book a Hifu treatment if you want to look amazing for Christmas.

HIFU isn't just about tightening the skin, it's about understanding which layer you're treating.

If you've ever wondered how ultrasound can help improve the appearance of a softer jawline, mild jowls, crows feet or skin laxity, let's talk about what's happening beneath the surface.

HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It delivers focused ultrasound energy to selected depths beneath the skin, creating controlled thermal points that trigger tissue contraction and a collagen-remodelling response.

Here's where it gets interesting 👇

✨ Superficial dermis
This depth targets superficial skin tissue and can support improvements in skin firmness and fine lines.

✨ Deeper dermis
Targets deeper skin tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling and help improve the appearance of mild skin laxity.

✨ Deeper support layer
Energy can target the SMAS layer, a deeper support layer also relevant to surgical facial lifting.

Why does this matter?

Because skin laxity isn't always just a surface-level concern. The depth of treatment, the device used and your individual anatomy all influence what can realistically be achieved.

HIFU may help improve firmness and definition over time, but it's not a surgical face-lift but can help to create a more defined look.
