Asking on behalf of a patient…

One of my favourite treatments, is to reduce thickened toe nails, using a burr on my Chiropody drill. A patient confided, she longed to have her toe nails painted professionally, but she is too embarrassed, because she feels the nail tech would assume she had a fungal infection. I advised her, that many of my thickened nail patients, do have their nails painted with polish 💅

Are there any Beauticians in or around the Swanmore area, who would be happy to oblige this lady with a ‘file & paint’? 🤩

Would any of my existing patients like to try this foot product for me? It’s for those of you who find it difficult to rub foot moisturiser on your feet. I will gift it to someone i know has dry, hard skin and in return I’d like you to let me know the results.

July is a busy month for me, so I am thinking about working Saturday 27 June in order to fit patients in. I will wait to see where the majority of interest lies and then decide whether to work in Bishops Waltham or Wickham. Please let me know which location is best for you?

A friend sent me photos of her granddaughter’s feet. From the photos on the left, I pretty much knew it was ‘pitted keratolysis’ - a BACTERIAL skin infection. I asked some questions. First question - are they uncomfortable to walk on? The answer - no. Secondly - are her feet smelly? Answer- yes very. So far they had been treating as verrucas - a VIRUS and the condition had not improved. I advised they needed to get a prescription from their GP/pharmacist for a topical antibiotic & work on how to reduce bacterial growth. The photos to the right show the feet only 2 weeks later. Result 🙌
