As the weather gets cooler and we start putting the heating on, you may notice your skin feeling drier, tighter or a little less comfortable.

It’s a good time to check in with your skin rather than automatically adding lots of new products.

Is your cleanser leaving your skin feeling tight? Could your moisturiser be a little more nourishing? Are you still applying your SPF during the day?

Small adjustments can make a difference to how comfortable your skin feels.

And remember, caring for your skin doesn’t have to mean spending more money or having a complicated routine.

Sometimes, a little consistency and the right support are a lovely place to start.

How is your skin feeling as we move into autumn?

Calling all women who are tired of being the one who holds everything together.

You’re the one everyone turns to.

The one who remembers everything, organises everything, keeps everyone going and somehow finds a way to manage, even when you’re exhausted.

You tell yourself you’ll have a rest when things quieten down.

You’ll make time for yourself when everyone’s sorted.

You’ll think about what you need when life gets a little less busy.

But what if life doesn’t quieten down?

What if, in looking after everyone else, you’ve become so used to putting yourself last that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to put yourself first?

Perhaps you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or simply fed up with having to be the strong one all the time.

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely exhausted to give yourself permission to pause.

You don’t have to earn your rest by doing everything first.

And you don’t have to keep running at the same pace just because that’s what you’ve always done.

Start small. Take a little time for yourself. Breathe. Rest. Do something that makes you feel good. Let yourself receive the care you so readily give to others.

Because your wellbeing matters, too.

At Jane Long Wellbeing, I create nurturing spaces where women can slow down, release tension, restore a sense of balance and reconnect with themselves through reflexology, facial therapy and practical self-care.

It’s your turn to be looked after.

If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, discover Return To Radiance — your invitation to move from run down to radiant.

Is exhaustion dictating your life?

When you’re constantly tired, it’s easy to start questioning yourself.

Why can’t I get more done?
Why does everything feel like such an effort?
Why am I not the woman I used to be?

You start thinking you’re lazy, unmotivated or somehow not doing enough.

But what if you’re not failing?

What if you’ve simply been asking too much of yourself for too long?

When you’re juggling responsibilities, managing everyone else’s needs and pushing through your own exhaustion, it’s easy to forget that you’re a person who needs care, too.

And when your energy dips, your confidence can dip with it.

You might stop doing the things you enjoy. Lose your enthusiasm. Feel disconnected from yourself.

Please don’t measure your worth by how much you accomplish on the days when you’re running on empty.

You are not less valuable because you need to slow down.

Start by noticing what your body and mind are asking of you. Make room for rest. Find small moments that help you feel grounded, nourished and more like yourself again.

And if your exhaustion is persistent, new or affecting your everyday life, don’t simply push through it. Speak to your GP to explore what might be contributing to it.

You deserve to feel well, not just to keep going.

At Jane Long Wellbeing, I help women make space for their wellbeing through nurturing treatments and practical self-care, supporting them to reconnect with themselves.

Because how you feel matters just as much as everything you do.

And if putting yourself at the top of the list feels completely new to you, send me a DM. I’m here to support you.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

The simple way to start feeling more like yourself again when you’re running on empty.

You don’t always need to do more.

Sometimes, you need to stop asking so much of yourself.

You’re juggling work, family, responsibilities and everyone else’s needs. You’re keeping things going, ticking things off and telling yourself you’ll rest when everything is done.

But what if everything is never actually done?

And somewhere between being needed by everyone else and trying to keep up with it all, you’ve lost a little bit of yourself.

Your energy is low. Your patience is wearing thin. Even the things you used to enjoy can feel like another thing on your to-do list.

Here’s where to start.

Give yourself five minutes today that don’t have to achieve anything.

Put your phone down. Relax your shoulders. Take a few slow, comfortable breaths. Have a cup of tea without doing something else at the same time.

Ask yourself: What do I need right now?

Not what everyone else needs from you. Not what you think you should be doing. What would genuinely help you feel a little better?

You don’t have to change your whole life today. You just have to start listening to yourself again.

Because looking after yourself isn’t another task to squeeze into your day. It’s part of what allows you to keep living your life with energy, enjoyment and a sense of who you are.

You deserve to feel well, too.

If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself, restore your wellbeing and bring a little more radiance back into your life, discover Return To Radiance with Jane Long Wellbeing.

From run down to radiant — one small step at a time.

Back in the treatment room this Saturday…

Today, I’m welcoming clients for my Luxury Pamper VIP treatment — a little time to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself.

The room is filled with the beautiful aromas of cedarwood, tea tree and lavender essential oils, creating a calming sensory experience as you settle in and let the outside world wait for a while.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re navigating change, carrying stress or simply craving some time for yourself, your treatment is an opportunity to slow down, release tension and enjoy a little peace in your day.

Because sometimes, you don’t need to do more. You need a moment where someone else takes care of you.

Fancy some time in the treatment room?

DM me to ask about my upcoming availability.

Reflexology is about more than relaxation.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the principle that specific reflex points on the feet correspond to different parts of the body, including organs and body systems.

Using specific pressure techniques, a reflexology session provides dedicated time to relax, unwind and focus on your wellbeing.

Many people choose reflexology to help them manage everyday stress, make space for themselves and support their overall sense of wellbeing. Some also find it helpful as part of a self-care routine when navigating periods of change or difficulty.

Relaxation may also help support better sleep and mood, although individual experiences vary and reflexology is not a treatment for underlying medical conditions.

With over 23 years of experience, I offer reflexology as part of my holistic approach to wellbeing — supporting you to take time for yourself and reconnect with how you feel.
