Infrared sauna and ice bath in Wilmslow: why heat, then cold?

New UK research from Bangor University suggests a short cool dip between rounds of a traditional sauna made the next round feel easier (Experimental Physiology, July 2026). Ours is an infrared sauna, no hotter than 65°C, with a 7°C ice bath, so we won't claim the same result.

What we can say: the suite is private, solo or for two, and the pace is yours. Solo £40 · duo £60.
