👑 State visit by The Sultan of Oman, Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd October 2026

🇬🇧 🇴🇲 His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, will make a state visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 20 October to Thursday 22 October 2026, hosted by Their Majesties The King and Queen at Windsor Castle. 

The Royal Borough is working closely with Thames Valley Police, the Royal Household and other partners to support the visit and minimise disruption for businesses, residents and visitors. 

There will be an enhanced police and security presence in Windsor in the days leading up to and during the state visit. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any concerns to a police officer, online, by calling 101, or in an emergency, 999.

💕☕ BREAKFAST AT LAURA CARES! 🍳🥑🥓

Even After working long 12-hour shifts yesterday, our amazing care staff are back out this morning, going above and beyond for our lovely service users! 💗

💇‍♀️ Wash and blow-drying Mrs W’s hair to make her feel extra special.

🥑 Freshly cooked eggs and avocado for Mr and Mrs I.

🍳 Eggs on toast, bacon sandwiches and delicious cooked breakfasts, all prepared with love!

At Laura Cares, we really do bring CARE into your own home! 🏡💕

Every care plan is carefully designed and tailored around each individual’s needs, wishes and preferences.

❤️ It’s not just about ticking boxes. It’s about providing genuine CARE, kindness, dignity and those little extras that make someone feel special.

💕 Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference… 🧸💕

Today, one of our amazing carers brought our lovely service user a very special little friend — Benny the teddy 🧸 — just to see if having something to hold and fiddle with would help keep her hands busy and bring her a little comfort.

And the moment our carer walked in, our service user looked at Benny and said…

“I looked after you, baby!” 🥹🤣💕

What a beautiful moment! It’s these little interactions, the thought that goes into knowing our service users as individuals, and the kindness shown beyond the care tasks that make such a difference. ❤️

Dementia care isn’t just about completing a care plan — it’s about connection, memories, reassurance, comfort, laughter and finding those little things that bring joy. 🌸

A huge thank you to our wonderful carer for thinking of our service user and for bringing a little bit of extra happiness into her day. 🥰

And of course, welcome to the Laura Cares family, Benny! 🧸🤣💕
