I have birthed my baby a thousand times already.☺️🥹

This pregnancy has been one of the most liberating journeys of my life. It has stripped away illusions and shown me soo soo much.

For so much of my life, I’ve been the one supporting others, showing up, holding space, giving my time, my energy, and my heart. But this season has made me ask a difficult question: when I am at my most vulnerable, who is truly there for me?

There is no bitterness in that question… only awareness.

Life moves quickly. It’s easy for us to become consumed by our own responsibilities and our own struggles, our own worlds. But sometimes, in the process, we forget the people who need us most.
I am guilty of this too!

This journey has taught me that it’s okay to receive. It’s okay to create boundaries. It’s okay to stop chasing the support that isn’t freely given and instead become the safe place I’ve always searched for.

Perhaps that’s one of the greatest gifts motherhood gives us before our babies even arrive is…we don’t just give birth to a child… we give birth to a stronger, wiser version of ourselves. 🥲 💪🏾

Reminiscing back to December 2024 when Ashaya-Rose made her entrance into the world ✨

It feels so surreal to think that in just a few weeks, I’ll be birthing my baby girl. 🤍

Time has flown by, yet every kick, every milestone, and every moment has been so precious. I already can’t imagine life without you, little one.

The countdown is officially on… and my heart has never felt so full. 🌸
