We had a very interesting afternoon! It was lovely to welcome a guest speaker-Joe-who explained all about hate crime awareness week.
The talk was informative, very inclusive for those with disabilities and it was helpful to learn the ways we can support or help each other if we are a victim of such crimes.
It made us very aware that we should always be mindful on how we speak/treat others…..respectfully, and kindly.
Thank you to Joe and the team for reaching out to CP friends! 💚

We had a full room today and everyone had a lovely time chatting with friends, enjoying lunch (& cake!) together. 💚
The tombola completely sold out! Thanks to everyone who donated the items and to those who had a go! Money raised goes towards fun times such as brunch & boogie, bowling or bingo to name just a few! 🎉

A little look back at a brilliant afternoon with CP friends! 🍰💜

Our Wolverhampton team recently joined forces with CP Friends and their families for a cake sale with a difference, taking our cakes around the local business estate and knocking on doors to raise whatever we could along the way. 🧁

The result? £150.10 raised in just three hours! 🎉 More importantly, everyone had an amazing time.

A huge thank you again to everyone who bought a cake, donated, contributed raffle and tombola prizes or helped make the day possible, and to CP Friends and their families for getting stuck in and making it such a memorable afternoon. 💜

We have had a fabulous afternoon! Brunch & boogie was packed! And that added to the atmosphere….everyone was so happy & the singer had us all involved! Food delicious as always!
Loved the fact that CP friends socialised with High Flyers! Can’t wait for the next one! 🎉🥳🎉🥳

We have had the most incredible afternoon!
AMG Nursing and Care Services in Featherstone organised a cake sale to raise money for CP friends!
We had so much fun knocking on the doors of local businesses and selling cakes! 🧁
The weather was perfect too! ☀️
Everyone was so kind! We met so many lovely people!
We were also given bag fulls of tombola & raffle prizes too, we are so grateful!
Blown away by the amount raised in 3 hours!
£150.10! 🌟

We’re delighted to be supporting CP Friends with a cake sale at our Wolverhampton branch on Monday 28th September, from 11 am – 1 pm. 🧁💚

CP Friends is a social group for people with cerebral palsy, their families and friends, helping to create opportunities, friendships and brighter days.

🍰 There’ll be plenty of cakes provided on the day, but if you’d like to contribute something sweet too, you’re more than welcome! Whether you enjoy baking or fancy cheating and picking something up from the shops (we won’t tell!), we'd greatly appreciate anything you’d like to add to the sale.

We’re also collecting new, unused items for a tombola, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! What a wonderful afternoon raising money for Macmillan cancer support. Thank you to everyone who baked or donated cakes and to everyone who either came along to my group or popped in from The Hub cafe for cakes/samosas and the tombola!
