✨ Rho's Reflections – An Abundance of Everything 🌿💫
Sometimes inspiration comes from the simplest of places. ♥️
Yesterday, my friend Shirley of Enchanted Whispers shared a post about a beautiful little giveaway, inviting people to choose an intention for a handmade jar. The choices included self-love, abundance, protection, clarity and happiness.
My first thought was self-love. ♥️
Like so many people, I know I can sometimes put others before myself. It's easy to spend our time caring for others, making sure they're okay, being there when they need us, and forgetting that we need a little care and attention too.
But then I gave it a little more thought, and my choice changed.
Abundance. 🌿
You see, I used to associate abundance mainly with money, wealth and material things. Perhaps that's what many of us are taught to think of when we hear the word.
But as I've grown older, I've come to realise that abundance can mean so much more than that.
An abundance of love. ❤️
An abundance of happiness. 😊
An abundance of health, where we're able.
An abundance of clarity when life feels confusing.
An abundance of protection when we feel vulnerable.
An abundance of self-love, so we remember to value ourselves as much as we value others.
And perhaps, most importantly, an abundance of the little things that make life feel good. The laughter, the friendships, the quiet moments, the unexpected kindnesses, the sense of peace when we finally slow down and take a breath. 🌸
Because abundance doesn't have to mean having everything. It doesn't have to be grand, extravagant or measured by what we own.
Sometimes abundance is simply having enough of what our heart, mind and soul need to help us through whatever life brings our way. ✨
Perhaps it's a little more love on the days we're feeling low. A little more strength when things feel difficult. A little more peace when our minds are busy. Or simply the ability to recognise and appreciate what we already have, rather than always looking for what we don't.
And maybe that's something worth remembering.
We can spend so much time wishing for more that we forget to notice the abundance that's already around us. And equally, it's okay to acknowledge what we're missing and to set an intention to welcome more of it into our lives.
So, my intention is abundance. Not necessarily an abundance of things, but an abundance of all the things that truly matter. The things that nourish us, lift us, support us and remind us that life can still be beautiful, even when it's not perfect. 🌿💫
✨ A little thought to leave you with…
If you could invite an abundance of just one thing into your life right now, what would it be?
More love? More peace? More laughter? More confidence? More time for yourself?
Or perhaps, like me, you don't want to choose just one! 😉
Whatever it is, I hope you find little moments of it in your everyday life, and that you remember you deserve to receive as much goodness as you so freely give to others.
With love, Rho ♥️🌠
