Alright legends!
First off, huge apologies for being quiet on here recently! It’s been a proper crazy few months, and life has been moving at 100mph.

We’ve got a quick update regarding our group catch-ups. Moving forward, we won't be running the scheduled group meetings anymore. As many of you know, trying to organize regular group slots and track down free, suitable venues along good bus routes has become increasingly tough to juggle.

BUT the heart of Brew n Bants hasn't changed one bit.
Just because the group meetings are stopping doesn't mean the support stops. The page is still very much alive, and as always, we are ALWAYS happy to chat.

If you ever need a vent, a bit of bants, or just fancy meeting up one-on-one for a brew and a catch-up, drop us a message! The door is always open and the kettle is always on standby.
Hope you’re all doing cracking!

Monday evening check-in, gents.

Another week is officially underway. Whether you sprinted out of the gates today or barely made it through to 5 PM, you’ve survived day one.
When life gets busy, it’s easy to run on autopilot and forget to check in on yourself and the lads around you.

Tonight’s game plan:

Kettle on: Go brew a proper cup.

Drop the shoulders: Unclench your jaw, take a deep breath, and let the day's stress go.

Send that text: Check in on one mate tonight. A simple "Hope the week's off to a good start, lad" goes a massive way.

Remember, the door is always open here for a bit of bants, a vent, or just a change of scenery.

Midweek check-in, gents... how’s everyone holding up?
Sometimes the middle of the week feels like pushing a boulder uphill. Work stack piling up, household jobs waiting, and a mind that just won't turn off.
If you're feeling the stretch today, here’s your reminder to pause for five.

Kettle on.

Step outside.

Check in on a mate.

A quick "How's it going, lad?" text can mean more than you think.
We’re all navigating our own stuff, but you don't have to do it in silence.
Drop a comment with one good thing that’s happened this week—no matter how small. Let’s hear 'em!

Hey Legends,
Did you know this Saturday (15th August) is officially National Relaxation Day?

Honestly, most of us aren't great at the whole "relaxing" thing. Between work, family, keeping on top of the house, and trying to stay sane in between, taking a proper breather usually sits right at the bottom of the priority list.
So consider this your official, non-negotiable permission slip for the weekend ahead.

Your assignment for National Relaxation Day:

Make a proper brew (no rushing through it while doing 3 other things).

Put the phone on silent for an hour.

Get outside, sit down, and literally do nothing.

Catch up with a mate for a quick bit of bants without talking shop or stress.

Relaxing isn't lazy, it’s how you recharge the batteries so you can keep showing up for the people who need you.

How are you planning to switch off this Saturday? Drop your favourite way to unwind in the comments below!

How’s the week ahead looking?

Let’s be honest, right now, the juggle is real.
Between navigating the school holidays, keeping up with work commitments, and trying to keep a tight rein on the budget, life can start to feel a bit overwhelming. If your to-do list feels three miles long before Monday has even properly started, you're definitely not the only one.

When it all gets a bit much, remember to hit pause.
Take 5 minutes.
- Have a brew..
- Step out into the garden or back yard.
- Feel the sun on your face.
- Drop those shoulders and just take a deep breath.

The work, the noise, and the admin will all still be there in ten minutes. But giving yourself that small pocket of peace can make a world of difference.

You’ve got this week, Take it one day and one brew, at a time.

Drop a comment below and let’s check in. 👊

Hey legends, sorry for the radio silence. I’ve taken a bit of time recently to reflect and have a well-needed reset.
Many years ago, I served in the military. I met and worked with some incredible people and did some amazing things.

Looking back, that kind of life definitely boosts your confidence, and yeah, your ego too, which from the outside can probably come across as being a bit of a dick at times!

As time goes on, family, friends, and loved ones move on, pass away, or fall out of touch. You start looking back to the past a lot more, realising there’s more of it behind you than there is ahead.
But during my reset, it reminded me that everyone is battling their own demons or having a rough old time.

My takeaway is simple: greet everyone whether it’s a family member or a complete stranger, the way you’d want to be greeted. Smile at someone, because that simple smile might mean far more to them than you’ll ever realise.

Be that light in a dark room for a stranger, even if it's just for a minute. To them, that minute will last a lot longer.

Feel free to drop a message, air your thoughts, or just check in.

I appreciate every single one of you.

Happy Fathers, shout out to all the dads and fatherly figures out there, you are doing an awesome! Enjoy the day

Hey Legends, How’s the week treated you?

With Father’s Day this weekend, we want to give a huge nod to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, and father figures in the group.

To every dad doing the daily juggle: We see you. You are doing a phenomenal job, even on the days it feels like you're just making it up as you go.

Thinking of you this weekend...
We also know this weekend can be a tough or complicated one for a lot of guys. If you’re missing your own dad, navigating a tough time, or just find this Sunday heavy, we're thinking of you. You’re not solo in this.

If you need a brew, a bit of bants, or just a change of scenery to clear your head, the group is always here.
Have a top weekend, gents. Look out for each other.

Good morning, legends.

Here is a thought for you, on this gorgeous sunny day:

• Grapes must be crushed to make w**e
• Diamonds form under pressure
• Olives are pressed to release oil
• Seeds grow in darkness.

Whenever you feel crushed, under pressure, pressed or in darkness, YOU ARE IN A POWERFUL PLACE OF TRANSFORMATION.

Have a great day
